Hello, I am a middle aged woman with 10 years experience working in a Nursing Home at the beginning of my career, I started at age 14 until 24. I was responsible for all care of 18 women: medicine distribution, cooking meals, bathing, dressing, arts & crafts and communicating. I then spent 15 years at a foster care agency as a family consultant, working directly with children and families in the foster care system. I became a foster parent and ultimately an adoptive parent. Currently, I own Kindred Spirits, a Healing & Art business. I make homemade non chemical bath and beauty products using essential oils, painting, woodwork and am a Reiki Master. My passion is creativity, healing, spreading love & light to others and just being a good listener.

I have been in sales and marketing most of my 35+ years of professional experience. I got out of professional industry to take care of my parents who needed full time assistance; would trade it for the world, although I miss them terribly. Since I have grown even more interested in taking care of those in need, sharing stories and laughter...best medicine. My daily goal is to make a person laugh or smile daily.

I have been caring for family/patients over 20 years. I love to make people feel loved,important,and just letting them know that there life can still be enjoyed even though they have limitations. I am an Exercise Science major with a concentration in Pre-Allied Health Sciences and a concentration in Spanish in Health Professions. I have previous background in an array of care-taking serviceS but currently I work as a CNA in Conway, SC. I love my job and the people I meet! I have always been people-oriented and that is what pushed me to peruse healthcare and I have loved my journey thus far! Also, I am CPR/AED certified and have knowledge dealing with an array of cognitive and other medical disorders.

I enjoy the ability to help others, to gain knowledge form the elderly. I became a caregiver a few years after my grandmother was put in a nursing home. I saw the love and compassion she received and this inspired me to want to help the elderly and disabled. I got my CNA when I was 18 and my EMT when I was 20. I am proud to say I have helped an number of sweet people and they in turn have taught me so much. As a mother of two children, I want to show them that loving, caring and respect of all ages, ethnicity will make this world a better place.

Since I was a young girl, I have always taken great interest in caring for others. I usually am able to tell what someone I'm caring for needs before they even know they need it. I take great pride in being able to make someone laugh or smile as I am a big kid at heart.. You're only as old as you feel.. To me, being a caregiver is effortless, although I put my all into my patients and their needs.

I have years of experience working with Alzheimer's, dementia, feeding, preparing meals, bathing, total care and all mechanical devices etc. I have 3 children which 2 is serving in the Arm Force and one daughter. I came from a family where we all worked into the medical field caring and always helping others. A few years ago my father became ill and was diagnose with stomach cancer along with having dementia. I realized being a care giver and caring for others it took a special person to do this and I realized that I had to find someone just like me to help with caring for my father until his passing. I must say that if you are looking for someone to give you a peace of mind, have patience and understanding with a positive attitude look no further. # Vaccinated with COVID 19 vaccine as well.
