As a chiropractor for 20+ years, I have a wealth of knowledge caring for patients with multiple physical, psychological and mental conditions. I was born with a nurturing heart, and it has always been my purpose to serve others whether human or animal. My warm and loving bedside manner makes my patients feel comfortable and safe. Many of them are still in my life after many years, and I consider them family. My passion for being a caregiver began recently. My Mother went blind after a rare virus attacked her optic nerves. She went from being an active, independent and strong woman to feeling sad and helpless overnight. I have recently left my practice in Tennessee to take care of her, and fly back and forth to Florida 3 days a week. In the past few years I have thought about leaving the field of Chiropractic, which has taken a toll on me physically. Caring for my Mom sparked a new passion in me. I found being a caretaker gave me a new found purpose. I am naturally a multitasker and extremely organized. Being someone else's eyes takes a lot of patience and juggling many things at the same time. I thrive in this type of environment. Watching the progress my Mother has made in the last few weeks has been extremely rewarding. Finding the things that bring her joy in this new life is my favorite part of being her caregiver. I realized I want to do this for other people who need me. In the next year I will attend University of Massachusetts to receive a masters degree in education as a certified vision specialist. One of my personal achievements is adopting and raising abused and neglected dogs. Watching them go from scared and abused to happy, fun and confident brings me so much joy!

I think I'm good caregiver because I love what I do. I am patient and respectful of my clients, I like for them to feel comfortable and that they can trust me. The thing I enjoy most about this job is making them feel safe. I became a caregiver when my Grams got sick and I didn't know how to care for her so I went a and learned how and that was about 20 years ago. I am a very reliable Christian. I have very good references. I am willing to travel 50 miles for 3-5 days live-in positions. My availability is Sun am - Fri 4pm.

I am a great caregiver because I first learned how to be one by helping my parents and my brother. They had certain disabilities, both physical and mental/psychological, that touched my heart and helped me realize the importance of quality of life to everyone, not just to those who are healthy. Then, I achieved 89 credits towards my BSN (bachelors degree in nursing) and graduated with honors in Surgical Technolgy from Tennessee Technology Center, First Aid at MTSU, and am a licensed CNA and am CPR/BLS certified, and have a Leadership Award from St. Thomas Hospital. I currently work at a hospital as a CNA/PCA and am looking to work part-time to possibly full-time for someone who has the need for home health and/or caregiver needs. I have excellent references and take my work seriously!

My outgoing personality is great for helping motivate my clients. I mostly enjoy the relationships and companionship with the lovely people I take care of, I try to treat every single person as if they were my own family. I became a caregiver to take care of my parents as they aged. Now that they are no longer with me, I want to help others live independently at home.

I am a patient caregiver with a comforting approach to care. I treat my patients like I would my own mother or father. I wanted to become a caregiver because I enjoy making people feel loved and doing what I can to help them feel good. I love being a caregiver because when I've done a good job and that patient gives me a smile or says something sweet, I know that they are happy and satisfied with my services.

Hello! My name is Brayta. I am a single mother by choice to 1-year-old identical twin girls. They bring joy to whomever they meet! I'm hoping to find a sweet older lady to love on and care for. My availability is flexible and I can start immediately. I can help with personal care, administering medication, making meals, light housework, and keeping your Mom active. Building a relationship with the person I care for is a priority. I'm happy to take your Mom to doctors appts, the beauty salon(I have many fond memories of taking my grandma to get her hair done!) the grocery store, or any errands she would like. I am a safe driver with a clean driving record. I have many years of experience caring for people of all ages, but my favorite are the young, and our wonderful older generation- there is much to be learned from both! I'm an excellent multi-tasker, respectful, intelligent, dependable, patient, and have the added bonus of my daughters who will keep anyone spry and young at heart. As a single mama, I need to bring my girls with me. They are very sweet, easy going, and love people. I enjoy all these studies showing the benefit of time spent together between babies/young children and our senior generation- increased joy, decreased Alzheimer's, and prolonged life. So I hope we can discuss further your position details and see if we would be a good fit for your Mom. I promise your Mom will be in safe and loving hands with me. Thank you for your consideration!

I developed a passion for care giving when my grandmother got ill and could not care for herself. That is when I truly believe that caring for those in need is truly one of my callings. Being a caregiver, really shows the difference I am actually making in an individual life, and that is what I love. I have a huge heart with a lot of love to give. I have chosen a career in the nursing field because I enjoy the feeling I get when I give to others. I am currently pursuing my career to become an RN. I have worked with a variety of people of all ages. I am an outgoing person with natural ability to provide care services with empathy. I am loving, trustworthy and dependable person.
