My name is Whitney,I have been a caregiver for over 20 years. I have a friendly, caring personality,also outgoing. I have a lot of experience from dementia, tracheostomy, catheter (male and female), diabetic, amputee,transfer,full transfers,and partial assist,hoyer life, sliding board, bathing,and home making just to name a few things so you can have an idea of some of things I have a experience in,but I assure you I did not name all of them. I've always wanted to be able to help people who needed assistance,and that just wanted some company. Being a caregiver is an amazing job, it's the one on one that you get with the clients, being one on one,helps you to actually get to know your clients. I am in school now to become an Registered Nurse,that is something that I've always wanted to do since I was a little girl.

What had brought me into like being a caregiver was my grandpa. He has dementia and needs lots of help, so helping him out and talking to him and doing things with him has been amazing and is what I wanted to do. I have been a caregiver for 4 years and being around different people and getting to know them are really what I love to do.

I am a very happy and positive person, i love putting a smile on others faces. I have been working in caregiving for as long as i can remember as alot of my family needed carers. I have always been passionate about helping others whilst providing companionship. I am very proud of being 24 and never giving up on myself. I have been an LPN for 30 years.I worked for approximately 25 years in long term care with geriatrics.I chose geriatrics after being a caregiver for my grandmother who was diagnosed with dementia.After 25 years in long term care I transitioned to hospice care for the last 5 years.I continue to work with hospice prn and I am looking to work with patients to provide in home care.During my nursing career I specialized in wound care.I am a caregiver from the heart and will provide excellent care to those that I serve.

Hey my name is Jatisha Odom ! I'm located in the murfreesboro area and willing to travel to smyrna, I've been in the caregiving field since i graduated in 2012 I've always had a passion in helping others , i helped out a lot with kids with disabilities while i was attending high school and it just grew on me . I know this job requires a lot of patiences and tolerance for challenging situations and i just love this type of work i took a four year break because i got pregnant and become a stay at home mom to my beautiful daughter but i was off work for awhile all my certificates expired but i plan to get my first aid and cpr certification back active and at the first of the year i plan to take my CNA classes to get my licenses here soon and add that to my profile I'm just looking for a great placement to pick back up on all of this but I'm very familiar with a lot of stuff as far as taking my clients to there appointments, doing the house needs, bathing, feeding , hospice, Hoyer lift etc. Whatever you name I've pretty much done it all and has dealt with a lot of clients with different disabilities and health problems . I think I'm good caregiver because I love what I do. I am patient and respectful of my clients, I like for them to feel comfortable and that they can trust me. The thing I enjoy most about this job is making them feel safe. I became a caregiver when my Grams got sick and I didn't know how to care for her so I went a and learned how and that was about 20 years ago. I am a very reliable Christian. I have very good references. I am willing to travel 50 miles for 3-5 days live-in positions. My availability is Sun am - Fri 4pm.

I am a great caregiver because I first learned how to be one by helping my parents and my brother. They had certain disabilities, both physical and mental/psychological, that touched my heart and helped me realize the importance of quality of life to everyone, not just to those who are healthy. Then, I achieved 89 credits towards my BSN (bachelors degree in nursing) and graduated with honors in Surgical Technolgy from Tennessee Technology Center, First Aid at MTSU, and am a licensed CNA and am CPR/BLS certified, and have a Leadership Award from St. Thomas Hospital. I currently work at a hospital as a CNA/PCA and am looking to work part-time to possibly full-time for someone who has the need for home health and/or caregiver needs. I have excellent references and take my work seriously!
