I sat out years ago to be a buisness professional and years later found my calling in Healthcare. My job is not just a job to me, it is my passion of caring for others. I began caring for my grandmother whom had broke both of her legs when I was 12 yrs old. I have always had a huge heart for older people and the privilege of caring for them now as a career is a true blessing. I love to hear stories of their past and learning them individually. Caregiving to me, is like being blessed with many extra family's!

I am 20 years old attending college to become a nurse, I enjoy talking and doing activities with my patient , my biggest achievement was be able to take care of 6/7 people in one day even though it was not easy.

I have done this before. I found it very fulfilling and made me very happy, to help those who needed my help. Felt great to meet new people an see their stories. I help take care of my father on my off time he has early onset dementia. And has survived 4 strokes. I am happily married with 5 children.

I enjoy making others happy especially ones that don't feel like they have much to live for or feel they don't have many people who care for them. At my old job, I was always the bubbly, care-free girl who all the customers usually loved. Throughout the workplace, they called me Dory, the little blue fish off Finding Nemo. Yet I know fastfood is not what I am made for, making people smile is though! I almost never fail make someones day a thousand times better and a guaranteed smile on their face. For me, to be able to care for someone and make their days a whole lot better would make my life not only more beneficial, but also a lot less stressful. I know, I know, "This is going to make your whole life miserable, caring for these people all the time." Or at least so I've been told. It would honestly make my life have so much more meaning and I could highlight meaning in others lives, and to me, that's only a fraction of what this world needs, but I'm on board with doing it. I'm 17 until August so please don't put me in a situation you wouldn't want your kids in. I'm very accepting, I love to play cards (Such as: Spades, Canasta, Rummy, etc.), I help my mom garden, so I'd be happy to help if you wanted a garden. My favorite thing to do in this world is to sit and listen to stories so don't feel like you're bugging me telling me the same story the 10th time over again, I'll love it and listen to it every time.

I have worked in all areas of healthcare over the years, hospitals, home health, nursing facilities, geri/psych unit, hospice, private duty. I now own my own business, Quality Home Care, a non-medical home care. This is my calling and I am honored to help others in need.
