The best part about being an awesome caregiver is always when a elderly ,patient ,or resident go out of their way to look for you or just remember you ,alwAys talking to or just want or recommends you . It's pretty cool when you and the elderly can talk and Kno that you really are there for them . But in the end patience is what holds you down to be the best bc when you don't got that then it just won't work.

Hello, I would like to tell you a little about myself. I have been a caregiver for over 20 years. Taking care of the elderly is very much a passion of mine and it's my happy place other than the birth my of two boys, at the given moment in time I am doing what I love and that's is helping my individual with his or her needs that have become difficult due to age and or illness. Here is a little bit about what all I have done in the past 20 years that has to do with this field. I worked with hospice, I have been a medication aid, phlebotomy in a dialysis center. Physical therapist tech III at Abilene State School. Working at the State School was something totally out of my comfort zone but was so worth every minute spent there the knowledge I soaked in really enhanced my ability working with Alzheimer's and dementia individuals. So as you have read I wear many hates. There was a time when I thought about taking it to the next level and going to nursing school but as I got older and from working nurses are very important but there is less hand on with the individual and I am all about hands on and taking care of my individual at the time. My greatest achievement are my kids they keep me grounded and focused. My attraction to this field comes from my mom. She started out as a caregiver but went back to school and became a nurse. So you see this field has been in my blood for a very long time and it's my heart it's just who I am and what I love. I am new to the Carelinx family but know this line of work deep in my soul, take a chance on me so you can see for yourself. Thank you

I enjoy being a caregiver I love being needed. My goal is to help them on their achievements as being dependable, exercising and helping clients know they have choices and opinions of their daily life. And we there to help them get stronger.

I have had been a caregiver to my own Mom who passed away 2016. I took care of her 24/7 daily baths, hair grooming, toilet needs and feeding her every 3 meals. I have in the past taken care of other Elderly people. I am a loving and devoted person with a big heart. I always wamted to be. Nurse, I have worked in the Medical Field as a Assistant and loved my job fir years. I enjoy making them happy for the day and they deserve the best treatment. I have been a compationate person all my life and took care of grandparents on their death beds. I grew fond of my Aunt whom was a nurse she tought me alot.
