my grandmother is my inspiration for doing what i do..giving care i love doing what God has given me the skills to do in caring for all in need of care... i have not only been a certified nUrse aide for 20 years but as well finished pharmacy tech with i v mixture certification 2006 and phlembotomy certified 2015 i am a happy person ...have traveled outside of USA and looking forward to doing so again ..give all glory to GOD (keeping Him 1st) just love people i cant stress it enough how much i enjoy taking care of anyone in need( especially my elders i highly respect) note(holidays pay time and a half*)

1. What actually makes me a great caregiver is my willingness to serve others and I believe it's my calling. 2. I became a caregiver because, I have great compassion for individuals in need of personal one on one care. 3. Their are several reasons why I like being a caregiver. The first reason is that I am able to be there for individuals that are in need of help. Another reason I enjoy being a caregiver is because, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and after the cancer she went into remission. Shortly afterwards, she was diagnosed with dementia. Recently she was diagnosed with Parkinson. I eventually had to move her into my home and I realized how self fulfilling and rewarding it is to serve others with sincere humility. I feel that as a caregiver each individuals that I care for should receive the best of care, compassion, and the best quality of care that life has to offer. 4. My most greatest achievement is yet to come because, I'm looking to achieve more tomorrow than I have today. Life is a lifelong learning process and when you think that you have achieved your greatest achievement there is still room left for more improvement.

I've worked as a nurse assistant over 16 yrs caring for disabled, elderly, ill, and mentally challenged clients. I have worked in nursing home, hospital, home care, senior facility, respite care, private duty, direct care service, and hospice care, and trained in massage. I like to challenge myself as a caregiver with promoting new work skills. My time is giving care to others, that cannot do for themselves. My achievement is to see my three children succeed in the life that values them. For myself, to be recognized for my work performance, that's giving to each individual that has been cared for, show appreciation. I had several resident tell me that I'm wonderful, and I had a tearful moment. It's a blessing to hear positive thinking from a client. I have been raised by my grandmother and have been with her until she passed away. She has a hip replacement and I was taking care of her all the time and I loved doing it. That's why I become a caregiver,because I am a very compassionate person who is caring and very responsible. I love talking Care of people specially for the elderly and sick one. And wherever I went to work with, patient and their families really appreciate what I do and they let my employer know, and I was very proud of myself. Whenever the patient is happy that when my satisfaction is . I'm sure that I will meet your expectations for the position I'm applying for.

What makes me a great caregiver my heart is about the client and they care and well bein and making sure they are cared for properly and have a companionship with there making it about them letting them know they are still loved and no matter what I'm there for any needs to be met by them I became a caregiver because I use to go to work with my mom and watch her care for her clients and I always told myself I wanted to be someone who could be there for someone who could not be there for themselves and I want them to know I'm there for them and they are like family to me in anyways to be I being doing this over 20 yrs I have well experience caring for patients in there homes in the assist facilities and nursing home home I even worked in group homes I know how to use the hoyer lift and transfers meal prep dealing with medication reminders and doing the medication ADL for the clients cooking, cleaning , grooming went to the Doctor appointments and having a companionship with them letting them know it's about them and not me because my duty is to make sure they are comfortable

What made me want to be a caregiver and take care of people was being able to for connections and friendships with them. i was my grandmothers caregiver for 2 years before getting into the health care and being able to make help and care for someone brightened up my day! being that i'm a very personable person i find it very easy to connect with new people. Seeing that i have made someone's day a little bit easier is what makes being a caregiver worth it !

I have always been drawn to caring for people, animals, and the natural world. While earning my degree in nutrition, I volunteered in retirement communities, soup kitchens, and with Meals on Wheels. Those experiences showed me how meaningful it can be to offer someone not only practical help, but warmth, attention, and companionship. Over the past several years, I have cared for older adults living with dementia, recovering from strokes, and managing chronic health conditions. I am patient and observant, and I understand that everyone has their own rhythms, preferences, and ways of communicating. Having lived and traveled abroad, I am comfortable connecting with people whose lives may look very different from mine. My background in nutrition helps me understand health and daily routines, while my training in yoga therapy taught me the value of calm, movement, and simply slowing down. What I enjoy most is discovering who someone is beyond the care they need. I love hearing people's stories and finding small ways to make the day feel lighter, whether we are taking a walk, cooking, listening to music, visiting a museum, or simply having an interesting conversation. My work as an artist helps me bring curiosity and imagination into caregiving, especially when a client is feeling isolated or discouraged. I have degrees in nutrition and fine art, but some of my most meaningful experiences have been much quieter: earning a family's trust, helping someone feel comfortable in their own home, or seeing a client become more engaged with life again. Outside of work, I enjoy art, poetry, reading, hiking, travel, and nature.

My name is Beth. Im 40 yo & the mother to 2 boys (21 & 10). Throughout my life I have been referred to as an "old soul", often relating to & befriending folks a few years older than myself . I have always cherished what their generation has to share & what they've given to us. Listening to folks recall their past & share advice is honestly the most rewarding bonus for what I do! I truly believe caring & assisting folks with disease, in hospice, or with whatever issue they may be up against, is what I was called to do. I have over 16 years of experience, mostly with seniors & working with Dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, & terminal illness. I assist my clients by providing companionship & help w/ bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, house keeping, dishes, meds, appts, shopping, transportation, scheduling, keeping care logs, & any other daily needs. I have experience working w/ the Hoyer lift & wheelchair (both manual & electric). I do my best to get clients up & around, keeping their blood flowing and muscles strong.
