I enjoy being able to assist and provide companionship to the elderly. Spending time and getting to know them while being able to meet their needs is gratifying. My long term goal is to be able to work with children and elderly, I am currently in school for Social Work.

I have years of home health experience. Great people person, with patience, and some medical skills. Being a care giver is a easy occupation as i have been caring for my elderly mother for years now. It also keeps me ony toes as we know health changes from day to day. Having medical assistant background also makes this task a bit easier being that i have some medical training.

What I like most as a caregiver is providing what they need such as being their extra hand at the time. Being companion to them, prepping their daily meals and assisting with their meds.

I can provide superior care and at the same time spend quality time w patients who may need so help to obtain the life they so need to thrive in their everyday life to be happy and bring a precious smile to their face!!! I come all of that and more!!! I come w plenty of experience in geriatrics, Alzheimer's, adults with special needs/disabilities, autism, and or specialty diseases.

I want to make sure that each moment of their loved ones lives are filled with precious memories of being with someone who cares for them not just because you have to and it's our job, but because we genuinely care about them getting their right amount of nutrients in their food, or making sure they've exercised today. It's about being there when they need us the most. I am compassionate, caring, empathetic, patient, humorous when need be and present.

I become a caregiver almost 10 years ago the impact on the quality of life of my clients was amazing !! that make me feel great as a person. Being a caregiver doesn't just mean doing chores, it's also about bringing joy to someone's life

Raising a child with special needs, and working with special needs clients for the last few years bring me such great joy. To see individuals learn something new and help them achieve their goals made me have a passion for caring for others. I feel my greatest achievement of all was obtaining my Bachelor's and Master's Degree all while being a single mother and raising a child with special needs. Seeing my children growing and thriving because of all of my hard work and dedication makes me know that anything is possible, and I'm exactly where I need to be in my life helping other people.
