I'm very passionate about being a Caregiver. I never had the pleasure of meeting any of my grandparents so I have always wonder what it felt like. So being a Caregiver has introduced me to wonderful people. I have enjoyed baking cookies, listening to old love stories, as well as old war stories. I can surely see and feel how special grandparents and Elderly really are. I love the warmth of smiles, the hugs, and the sincere gratitude that's shared. I love just being a trustworthy companion to the most vulnerable. It's really heartfelt.

I practice compassion as a moral rule. My early obsession and training in philosophy and ethics might be to blame. While earning a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, I volunteered at various retirement homes as well as Soup Kitchens and Meals on Wheels. I find deep joy in caring for little things such as my plants and my cat, even in spite of her, well, cattiness. Some of my art draws attention to the natural environment, which was initially one of the reasons I decided to pursue cinematic arts. I have always had compassion for vulnerable populations, and I know from an existential and emotional standpoint that growing older can be frightening at times, which is why I wish to bring peace and joy to someone's life. My training in yoga therapy has further taught me the importance of stillness and breath, as well as nutrition. My background in nutrition has taught me how to approach conversations from a clinical standpoint, and my work as an artist has taught me how to use the imagination in order to create positive and meaningful narratives for ourselves, especially as a means to cope with the later stages of life. I became a caregiver because, I have great compassion for individuals in need of personal one on one care. 3. Their are several reasons why I like being a caregiver. The first reason is that I am able to be there for individuals that are in need of help. Another reason I enjoy being a caregiver is because, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and after the cancer she went into remission. Shortly afterwards, she was diagnosed with dementia. Recently she was diagnosed with Parkinson. I eventually had to move her into my home and I realized how self fulfilling and rewarding it is to serve others with sincere humility. I feel that as a caregiver each individuals that I care for should receive the best of care, compassion, and the best quality of care that life has to offer. 4. My most greatest achievement is yet to come because, I'm looking to achieve more tomorrow than I have today. Life is a lifelong learning process and when you think that you have achieved your greatest achievement there is still room left for more improvement.
