Hello there. I'm Gabby. I'm a very outgoing, energetic, positive vibes CNA and currently working on obtaining my RN degree licensure. I offer excellent care for your loved ones, giving you the peace of mind you need and deserve. As a single mom of three teenagers (now all 3 are in college!) I moved to North Carolina 8 years ago to be closer to my own aging parents. In 2015, Dad became wheelchair bound with Parkinsons and Mom was no longer able to care for him. I rolled up my sleeves and made the necessary renovations on my home there and moved them both in with me. I pushed pause on my nursing studies and was able to spend some great quality time with Dad before he passed away a week before Christmas in December 2018. Mom's dementia had been progressing, so I became his sole caregiver and provided for his every need until he "graduated." Three months later, Mom had a massive stroke rendering her the equivalent of a three year old. No longer able to dress, toilet, or feed herself or even articulate what she needed, I stepped up to the plate again and began caring for her 24/7 until her death one year ago. I would not trade even a millisecond of the time I was able to be with my parents. It allowed me some great moments with each of them and helped me fine tune my skills as a professional caregiver. I am responsible, caring, outgoing and a very attentive person. What attracted me the most to be a caregiver is that I can build relationships with patients and keep them company throughout the day whenever they need it. I have been a caregiver for 16 yrs i love taking care of people growing up i was the oldest so i had to take care of my mother who had many health issues and when i was 17 i got into the companies and did live in this is where my heart has always been i want to be a register nurse one day. I like to learn more about the client and i can be sure that i can try to respect what there familys wants me to and i will follow there needs to make them satisfy and happy and it makes me happy too to take good care of my clients is the first priority. It all first started with my parents i took care of both of them i was there caregiver for15yrs+ that's how my caregiver experiences at my own home and i will treat all my clients with love and respect just like as my parents or my own familys i love helping others especially seniors. I like talking with them read book's and tell stories take them for a walk just make them laugh and just makes them happy and let them know that you care for them and that's why you'll there. I have been a cargiver for 2 almost 3 years now and love the job. I enjoy assisting people with personal care jobs. Keeping good company. Cooking, cleaning, running errands. Changing briefs, assisting showering and getting ready for the day. Transportation for activities and taking out to run errands. I started working with kids with disabilities during a summer camp in 2016 and fell in love with assisting and helping kids and adults. Then i moved to other companies and loved the job still. I want to keep working in this job and get more hours than i am right now which is about 10-25 hrs per week. I am in the process of getting my CNA (certified nursing assistant) certification

I have always loved caring for people from infancy to older age. I have tons of experience with kids, and some experience with seniors. I became inspired to begin caregiving to senior when my grandmother fell sick and I helped care for her for years. She recently passed away and I found a lot of joy and fulfillment being able to help her. I love being able to form relationships with the people I am providing care for and be their as their friend as well. I am very sociable and a great listener and also have lots of experience with special need and have developed a great sense of patience and appreciation because of it.
