Hi! My name is Addison. I am a recent graduate of App State in Exercise Science. Previously, I worked for another caregiving company. Utilizing both my experience and the components of my degree, I am able to provide compassionate and detail oriented care. Caring for your loved ones is a privilege and I greatly value the relationships formed!

I am a very Caring, Dependable, Hard-Working mom of 2 daughter's. I have almost 2 years of Care-Giving experience. Being a Care-Giver has always been a passion of mine since I was 5 years old. My dream was to become an R.N. I am experienced with Alzheimer's & Dementia patients. A personal achievement that I am most proud of would be becoming a Certified Personal Care Aide. I am trying on working towards getting my C.N.A.'s. which is my next goal. My biggest reason for wanting to be a Caregiver is that I love taking care of people & knowing I am making a difference in someone's life. When I become a Caregiver for someone, I treat them just as I would my own family. They are not just a patient to me, they become part of my family.

I am 47 years old. I am a mother of 6, with the youngest being 20. I am also a "Mimi" to 5 and have two rescue kitties and a big-personalitied pug named Lola. I lost both my parents young and in losing them I feel a deeper appreciation for generations older than mine and the historic and generational knowledge they hold. Everyone should be treated with dignity and respect, no matter what age, and watching my father not receive the care he deserved as a disabled veteran further fuels that desire. I've cared for students age birth thru 21 with special needs for 20 years and am looking for new adventures!

I have over ten years' experience in caregiving. I enjoy helping people in need. I am understanding, patient, and kind.

I have extensive experience with adults and adolescents with mental illness/developmental disabilities. Experience with adults with Alzheimer's and dementia for over 5 years as well. I started out assisting in teaching western horse back riding lessons to children and adults for over 10 years, I worked my way to babysitting and private care to adults with IDD. And then began working with agencies that provided services to adults and children with mental health and IDD diagnosis. My passion is working with people, especially those diagnosed with physical or mental disabilities.

I have been in the medical field for almost 14 years. Healthcare is my passion. My grandmother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer when I was 8 years old. Everyday that I was with her, I done my best to take care of her and get her anything that she needed. She told me that I was her little nurse, and that stuck in my mind. I knew from that moment on that I wanted to be in healthcare. I enjoy taking care of people, getting to know them and doing my best to provide the care that is needed. A personal achievement that makes me most proud would be doing the heimlich maneuver on a choking Vietnam vet successfully. A couple years later his diabetes and edema got worse and he was not expected to make it much longer. I stayed with the family and done my best to make him and his family comfortable during this time and gave them as much support that I could.

After leave my public job to care for my mother in law it really gave me a light into the health care needs outside of a facility. I had been a care giver to my kids and grandkids and In helping care for my mother in law really pushed me to seek opportunities to help families keep their loved ones home and cared for without having them in a facility.

I am a Physical Therapist who is changing the direction of my career. I want move outside of my PT career but continue to develop relationships with my clients and help them maximize their quality of life by providing the care they need. I have worked with most medical issues, including dementia, for many years in every setting, from hospital to skilled nursing to Homecare and have helped with toileting, feeding and all aspects of mobility. I love to have fun and find that humor and compassion make people enjoy being with me and get the most out of our time together. And I have to mention- I am a huge animal lover so any pet in the home is a bonus to me! I look forward to meeting you and providing your loved one with safe, loving and dependable care.

Hello my name is Stephanie and I am 37 years old I am a mother of 1 beautiful Daughter and I adopted a golden Labrador retriever. I want to say that I just love helping people if I can. I have a lot of experience in taking care of many types of people. I have been taught by mother and father to respect all kinds of people no matter what the Disability is. I have a big heart and I am willing to help anyone who needs it. I would say that just meeting people.amd being there to help who I can is what attracted me to want to be a caregiver. I would say that the thing that I love about being a caregiver is getting to meet new people and helping them with whatever they need and becoming their friend and making sure they get what they need and give them the respect that they need and show them the love that I have and am willing to share with then and their families. My personal achievement that I am proud of is 1 being the best mother I can to my child and I am in school going for my Bachelors Degree in Adult Behavioral Sciemce. I would sat my other Achievement Is getting out and helping people and like I said giving them the love they need.
