Hi! My name is Jeannie and I'm 36yrs old. I've been a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Registered Medication Aide (RMA) for 10yrs. I grew up with my grandparents all my life and as they grew older, health problems slowly arose and I started assisting them more and more and fell into a caregiving role at a young age. My grandmother has COPD, HTN, DM, Anxiety, Neuropathy and Arthritis. My grandfather has dementia, vertigo and stage 3 renal failure. I am Now his caretaker at home, he's on hospice. I've worked in home care and assisted living care. I'm a very compassionate, caring person whose always loved helping others and knew this was my calling. I am now also looking into furthering my education and career and signing up for nursing school.

I became a caregiver because my mother had entered into the medical field as I was growing up and listening to her talk about how she enjoys helping others. I decided that I should give it a try when it was my time to choose a profession. Once I got into the field at nineteen years old, I fell in love with being a caregiver and I have since then within my seven years of experience prided myself on making sure I give the best care to each and every patient I've had the pleasure to care for. What makes me a good caregiver is that I go above and beyond to please the patients I am caring for and I do my absolute best to make them feel comfortable as well as just enjoying being a wonderful companionship. Being a caregiver for me is rewarding to know when I've put a smile on each persons face and family by just coming in with the willingness to meet their expectations. Well with my family being disabled and issue in health that's what pushed me more to help with the elderly and kids. I love when they laugh and are happy, and I can help with any little thing. I take my job seriously and go above and beyond, I love the elderly especially I learn from their wisdom, I have a history of family members that are nurses, I like giving one on one time and my most highest achievement is adding being a phlebotomist to my resume. I'm dependable and flexible, I cook clean bathe meds laundry yard work doctors appt vitals and so much more. I like being a part of the extended family of my patient. Been a cna for 3 decades and I love my career. I have references. I have current cpr ppd test, background check, drug test, I have a current cna license. I have no children and 5 dogs!

Love helping & caring for others in need , I absolutely love my job being a CNA , license for 11 going on 12 years was a caregiver 3 years before I got my license , very caring and understanding . To me this is not just a job to care for someone you have to have love and compassion and understanding .
