Hello! Thank you for considering me as your care giver. I've been a caregiver since I was 16 years old. I always had a dream of helping others in any way I can. My first experience with caregiving was caring for my grandmother who suffered from dementia. I spent time with her, looking through photo books, exchanging stories, going for walks, and I'd help her cook meals, and eat towards the end of her journey. I find this to be the most rewarding job. I put my whole heart into my work. I make sure every person I care for is heard, loved, and receiving the best care possible. I'm a very compassionate person. I love to learn new things, I am always willing to learn something new to expand my knowledge in caregiving in order to provide the best care

I've been doing this type of career for 28 years and love what I do I also would love to go get my LPN to further my career this fall 2023 then I'll be able to do more an help out more with my clients, then I can now, I wouldn't change my career for anything it what I've wanted to do my whole life and it runs in my family, and I intend to do for rest of my working life, it not a job to me it a career and it like taking care of my own family and love ones, my clients mean everything to me, I'm there for my clients to help them feel safe and comfortable with there ADL and being home, I am proud to have been in my career for over 28 years, an Im proud to add many more years to it, and have my LPN this year 2023, I also have both of my covid-19 shots so I am good to go with the covid-19, I also work with all types of care,

Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. Just for a little extra info, I do speak some spanish, however not too fluent; I also play several musical instruments in which I got to share music with some of the residents I cared for. I'm a very compassionate person with a big heart, I love all people and love being around people. What attracted me to being a caregiver is when I took care of my grandma after she broke her neck. She needed me the most and I was there. I enjoy making people smile, and laugh and being there for people in their time of need! My personal achievement is when I learned how to help my grandmother change her IV medicine ball! I was able to help her so much more when I finally learned how to do it.

I've been in the care giving field for 10 plus years, and enjoy it. I enjoy helping others, and making a difference in people lives. I'm a compassionate caring person, and I'm kind and patient with my clients. I first started in caregiving when I was a freshman in high school, and voulentered at a nursing home. I also took care of a family member for many years. I got my CNA certification shortly after, and have been doing home care ever sense. I look forward to continuing my career in this field.
