Hi my name is Anthony J. Sparacino, I am 19 years old and taking care of people has been my number one goal in life. It brings me such happiness to be able to give struggling folk a helping hand with every day activities and being there for them in there troubling times.

I have taken care of many family members, as well as many different clients. I feel like every person is as individual as a fingerprint, as well as their needs! And each need should be treated as such!

I became a caregiver to help those in need of assistance at home or in a facility. I love people and helping them to recover from injuries or illness. It isn't always possible for family members to care for another family member or other loved ones. I'm very passionate about the work I do in caring for my patients and also for their families. I've worked in hospice care, long term care, nursing facilities, hospitals and private care and have over 25 years experience, from Alzheimer's units to med- serg floors. I love it all and I'm continuing on to higher degrees.

In a sense, I have always been a care giver and I enjoy it. I have a special needs sister that I treasure. One of my best friends in college had a diabetic son that no one would babysit. I took the challenge which later inspired me pursuded a career in the health care system. Everyone deserves good care.

personality traits that help me be a care giver are I'm outgoing, open minded, friendly/ compassionate, organized, patient, trustworthy, dependable, reliable. I became a caregiver because caregiving is an extremely rewarding job. I enjoy helping people have given so much to this world such as our elders. caregiving is just something you can be proud of, I am helping someone's relative in some cases that have become lonely or sad and my goal is to change their mood for the better. what attracted me to becoming a caregiver is I enjoy working with people, I've always wanted to make a difference through work. Also over the years I've enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. One personal achievement I'm proud of is my family, they've supported me in wanting to go down this career path on helping others.
