I have been a professional college student per say in psychology and sociology. I was a CNA for 6 years and loved it so much. I continued my education and moved to Kentucky. Unfortunately after about 6 months in Kentucky my mother was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and became unresponsive so I moved back home to paragould to he my mother's caregiver. It was the most humbling experience I have ever had in my life

I have old fashion manners and have many skills. I have done C.N.A classes but I am not certified. I also worked in a nursing home and am now a personal care aid. I am attending college earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

As a caregiver I will not only give them the attention they need, but also be their best friend. I will want all my clients to be treated with the respect they deserve, and to feel like they are not a patient but a normal human being. I have taken care of my grandma for the past few years. Reminding her to take her medicine, taking her to the doctor, helping her groom/bathe, and just being there for her when she needs a friend. My grandma forgets a lot of things, and I just want to be there to remind her to do the things she needs to do to keep her healthy and on her feet.
