Keep the client's ordered and provide medication at the suitable times 9. Observe the personality for any health or performance changes. 10. Provide a foundation of social support for the adults, including playing cards, reading out loud, watching television jointly and conversing.
I have chosen my career as a caregiver because I get an enormous amount of satisfaction from helping and caring for others. I got into the Nursing field because I wanted to be in a career that helped people, I wanted to bring joy to people in unhappy situations.Working in Nursing Homes a lot of the workers are there for the wrong reasons, I understand that I am one unfortunate incident from being in their shoes and will want someone kind caring for me. And if could bring joy & happiness to someone in their last days I want to.
I am 57 yrs old, female. I worked as a caregiver for 15 yrs, I manage a small facility for elderly for 11 yrs and work there as an Administrator and General Manager of 6 houses of that small facility. I am expertise at Dementia and alzheimers residents/client. I'm very patient and pleasant to all my clients and clients family. I like my job and i enjoy it. Taking care of elderly reminds me of my parents so I attached easily to them.Most of my client like me the way I took care of them.

I have always wanted to help people be and feel their best. The small things like playing their favorite music in the background, fresh flowers in their favorite sitting area, windows open to let in fresh air; plus a warm/soft blanket as needed, making sure there is always something to drink close by, and of course the house safe, clean, and tidy. So all their senses are engaged.
Hello my name is Marsha Taylor. just a little bit about me. I was just 17 years old taking care of my grandmother she was very sick right before my grandmother passed away. I told her I think I found what type of work I wanted to do.working in the medical field. so the very first job I got was becoming a caregiver.so I started helping people that couldn't help their self and people that needed assisting with doing their day to day living and I love it. I enjoyed it so much I stayed at my very first job for 19 years .Then I want to learn more and I became a certified nurse assistant I got my HHA ,CPR ,first aid ,BLS I worked in nursing homes, Care homes,private care, Post acute .I can honestly say I enjoy what I do working with elderly ,young adults ,and also children... I also have experience and management, lead cashier, sales & associates, customer service, and retail... Dedication,patients,and respect... work and grow in a professional environment where my knowledge, experience, and creativity can be put to the best use. Also I am a good worker and very reliable and a fast learner. When Things get tuff I am a problem solver and a good thinker.
