I have always been close to my elderly family as a young child .As I got older I would volunteer with my friends family to help them and I took care of my Uncle Rudy after his stroke .This is when I New my next calling after his passing was to continue to help the Senior in my community as I have now for HISC for going on 5 yrs.I am very compassionate and they come first,Family's have asked for me by name after having me once they ask for me to be their care giver. I'm always a half hr, early so not to be late , I have a 100 percent respect from my bosses Buck and Tonya Shaw the owners of HISC Buck said I'm the whole package. I am trustworthy, honest , never call in unless I go to Dr, and they say with note I'm contagious. I work wonderful with others , team player,I speed walk every night I'm in great health, Mother of two adult daughters, I just got Divorced , my choice Thank you. And just moved in with my oldest daughter here in Jackson ,She just recently became a widow and asked me to live up here with her .
I have been a caregiver for 20 years. I love assisting clients with the activities of daily living including walking, grooming, bathing and all personal care. I am quit capable of managing a house and meal planning and am an excellent cook. I can assist with shopping, cooking, transportation to medical appointments and medication management. I have been trained hospice and CPR and a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Home Health Aid. I love helping people and can always find something to talk about such as current events and family. I can say prayers with your loved one and can read the signs when they are in pain or need rest. I am a giver and love making a difference. I pay my own taxes, and only charge $12/hr with a special $200/24-hr shift rate. I travel as far as Sacramento and the Bay Area to provide services where they are needed.
I have a strong passion for helping other people which is why caregiving brings me the most joy. I am a very compassionate and empathetic person who thrives in an environment where I am needed. I pride myself in providing my patients with the best care possible and making them feel 100% comfortable and safe. I have experimented with many different jobs and caregiving is always the postion in which I feel the most achieved and pleased at the end of the day. Being a good care partner has always been my goal in a career. I am certified in ALC the Adult Learning Cycle to aid in the way I train individuals to ensure they are learning the best way for them.

What I love about being a cna is the opportunity to build a relationship with my residents learning about their life and hobbies is very interesting to me, I have a passion for what I do and the elders are my number one priority, I like being able to be there to help someone with things that become difficult.
I have worked as a CNA and facility and also private in-home care. I have been doing this type of work for about five years. I recently also became a certified Emergency medical responder. I am working on getting my EMT license as well. I have worked with all different types of elderly care patients and do you have other references if you would like to see them.
I love helping people that would rather remain in their home just need a little help. Or people that need help to remain in their home where they can be surrounded with people that live and care about them. I love and care for everyone. I not only work for people but they become my friends.
