I have 10 plus years of caregiving experience as a private caregiver & IHSS background. I'm a reliable, consistent professional whose comfortable working independently or with others. I value having strong communication with the families of the client. What attracted me, is seeing how elderly people don't get a lot of support and attention from their family in some cases. Also, all they want and need is to know that they are loved and valued. I like to bring light to their world when it may seem like they don't have it. It's very rewarding for me to know that I did something to bring the people I care for joy and good energy. And seeing them laugh and smile makes me smile. I have loved being in home healthcare for a long time. I have found my niche, per say. I am a positive but gentle personality. I can talk when needed & be quiet when needed also. I treat people in their homes exactly how they want to be treated & do what they like having done. Kinda like "Burger King," saying, "having it your way." It is your home & I try to make it be how you want it to continue to be. I am very patient & want those I care for to feel good when I am there. I do not plan on changing their care plan & what is already working unless the client or family tells me otherwise. I enjoy so many aspects of the job. I enjoy doing for the client. I enjoy cooking their meals when needed & I take my time with the client. I will do for them anything they would need me to do & make their days enjoyable. My #1 priority is client safety & feeling comfortable with me as their caregiver. I have lots of experience, I have my CNA lic here in CA also was a Medical Assistant & I am an LVN but not licensed in the state of CA. I came back to my home state in 2011 & did not take the test as I was going to do something else when I arrived back. With my caregiving experience I do not think I will get licensed out here. I have let too much time laspe, unfortunately.

I first became a caregiver for my mother after she had a stroke. After she passed away after me taking care of here for 6 years Then I realized how some people don't have anyone to take care of them so here I am to help.

I am Elizabeth Loberiza 54 years old, from Philippines a graduate of Bachelor of Science in nursing. Was an Iccu and ER nurse In my younger years. Then I change work with residential care home , work includes direct care. Type of patent DD, elderly ambulatory and non ambulatory. I went school with Direct Support Professional year 1 and 2..Then work with agency with One on one client. I have handled all kind of cases simple and complex. The only thing I can assure you off I can be an asset in your company.

I'm a great caregiver because I love my job and helping people. I was attracted to being a caretaker after taking care of my mother for ten years who had cancer. My favorite part of my job is being a companion. I have often felt like a family member to my clients. A personal achievement that I am always proud of is when my client improves because of my positive attitude and the exercises we do or day trips. I also make an excellent cup of tea.

I have over ten years of experience in caregiving, I'm also a registered RBT I hold my CPR and first aide license. I'm also fully vaccinated and I have a lot of skills in the medical field.
