I have been a care giver for over 30 years now. It started when I was 17 years old working in a neighborhood coffee shop that seniors dined at regularly. I would overhear them speaking of tasks they could not take care of around their house by themselves. That's when I started offering to come over after work to help them. Then sometimes a husband would come in without a wife or a wife without a husband and I would ask where the other one was, they would reply they were sick at home. I would then asked if I could do anything or check in on them and they really appreciated it. Eventually I gave up my job at the coffee shop and became a full time caregiver. I love working with people while it makes a difference in their life.

I first started caregiving in 2010 and fell in love with it, I love to take care of people and being there in time of their need. It brightens my day to see smiles on peoples faces and i can never leave work without seeing that smile. I am working on being a nurse in the future and this is a great start for me. I have been with clients who need as little as companionship to those who are on hospice. When i started this job I never stopped doing it. Because I love what I do. I am a certified nurses assistant (CNA) and a medical Assistant . I take care of both young and the old. I am patient, kind, loving and very caring. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to call me. 510-434-4724

I have cared for seniors with dementia, cancer, MS, patients recovering from hip surgery, Stroke Patients, hospice patients and many more. I have excellent references which you can contact. I am passionate about my work as a caregiver as I love working with the elderly (I learn a lot from them and they remind me so much of my own grandparents), and I treat them with love and respect. I also do my work with dedication and determination to make them feel comfortable and happy. I treat them as if they're part of my family so the atmosphere can be pleasant and enjoyable for both of us. B

I am a compassionate, nurturing, and considerate person, sympathetic and caring is my nature. I enjoy a job were I can make life more comfortable, easy, and luxurious for others. I have always wanted to help people be and feel their best. The small things like playing their favorite music in the background, fresh flowers in their favorite sitting area, windows open to let in fresh air; plus a warm/soft blanket as needed, making sure there is always something to drink close by, and of course the house safe, clean, and tidy. So all their senses are engaged.
