Hello, my name is Xochi, a flower in the Aztec language. However, my middle name is Amy, which is easier to remember. I have been told often that I have a big heart and compassion for others. I have been previously in the social work field for the last twenty-five years. But what came next has impacted my life and led me to the decision I am much happier in the caregiver field. I was raised by my single mother and grandmother, who passed away a year from one another in 2019 and 2020. I had the privilege to care for and be there for them both, which I see as a personal achievement. Then the light bulb went on, and I never returned to my previous job. Today, I help the seniors and disabled in my neighborhood and care for my two senior citizens, four four-legged family members, Boy a Jack Russell Bread, 16 years old, and Darla Carolina, 17.

I'm open after 2pm to 11 pm, Thursday and Friday, enjoy taking care of people. I love to work hard to make people happy.... I can prepare meals and light house cleaning laundry, medication and bathing and hair grooming and transportation.... I'm also fully Vaccinated.

I'm friendly easy going I've been doing care for over 10 years. I've worked as a CNA before and from experience I like to see the smiles on a person face when I come around. I enjoy helping others. Housekeeping, running errands, cooking, etc.

I am a great companion to have around for everyday needs and company. I've had a lot of experience working with a wide variety of different people and personalities. Assisting those who could use a little extra help has always been a passion of mine. My goal is to always do my best to make your life seem as back to "normal" as possible while also helping you maintain your independence and be as comfortable as possible.

I truly enjoy working with the elderly and the disabled people in my area. Its such a blessing to be able to help these people have the best possible life. Rewarding to know the person your working for is enjoying life hopefully a little more since you are there helping them... I am experienced in all equipment and gadgets for the handicapped, able to transfer weights 150/170 without chains, personal hygiene is a must. Can also do repairs (handyman) work inside and outside. from vacuuming to roof repair. I'm a believer in GOD. About to Celebrate 6yrs Clean + Sober in July. With everything I've done in my life as far as employment hands down Care Provider and House Cleaner Are #1 + #2 Care Provider is so rewarding for myself and hopefully rewarding for My clients. I became a cna in 1997 and continued my desired position for 12 yrs ranging from convalescent homes to Lindsay and Sierra hospitals then my last employer was private in home that's where I realized I was my happiest, the friendship and bond you create is so much more then just helping someone out and going on your way, I bonded and made a friend along the way which was good for all parties involved. I have been a stay at home mom and wife for the past 2-3 yrs now since I lost my friend due to the battle but I am eager to help another in need and possibly make a new friend.

I have lot of patience and I am outgoing. When I notice something is bothering the patient I right away try to figure out what is bothering them. What attracts me to be a caregiver is that I want to help out those that need help now, since they help raise their own children or they did all they could to help others out and now it our turn to help them out. What I enjoy the most is that I get to learn new things from them. Also, I enjoy when am appreciated by the family and when they let me know that there loves ones look good and that are being good taken care of. Personal achievement that I am proud of is that I been doing CNA work for 3 years now.

I am very friendly, truthful, honest, and caring . I like to help the individual stay active so they do not lose the ability to do for themselves. I have worked in the medical field for many years. I have handled many different scenarios and situations so nothing surprises me to much. I am not judge mental and I enjoy helping the individual to feel good about their day and what they have accomplished. Positivity and Smiles go along way. No one is perfect However, I strive to be the best person I can be everyday. A personal achievement of mine was when I worked with an individual who was non verbal and he had a lot of behaviors and he could be very mean. I spoke to him and treated him like he was the same as everyone else. I cooked a special dinner for him and made it all homemade from scratch and he watched me make the whole meal. When I served him he looked at me took a bite then reached over and grabbed my arm gently and kissed my arm and he smiled so big. It took about a month to get that acceptance from him. When he finally accepted me it made me tear up. I felt so accomplished because this guy ran off so many Direct support Professionals. I felt as though I could do anything because of the wonderful feeling of gratitude and gratefulness that I received from that individual.
