I have also seen how prevalent depression is in the elderly and how the right person or gesture can help. i worked in assisted living and seen how a supervisor was treating the clients and together we fought to get her out. I have also seen them mistreated by physicians who won't treat them due to their age. i think everyone regardless of age should be treated with dignity and respect. Our older people have so much to offer if you just take the time to listen. I once thought that I couldn't do this job anymore, but i realize it is where my heart and passion is
