I am 63 years old! I enjoy caregiving particularly listening to life experiences and memories of my clients. I have a cleaning company so I am excellent at keeping house and had a restaurant in my past so I am a pretty good cook. I have been caregiving for many years and enjoy working with elderly. I was a client care coordinator and worked in activities in a memory care unit so I am able to advocate services and keep my clients busy.

I started in Healthcare and people work in 2009 ! I'm cpi,cpr,dementia,qmap certified. Have all my vaccines .I have a life time of experience in people empathy love compassion the natural ability to calm and soothe people whenever needed [?] being someone's person in life and in memory is what drives me and gets me also the people care I need [?] I absolutely adore helping and seeing healthy impacts and improvements that I have helped make possible!

I basically have been a caregiver my entire adult life, but in many different aspects. I have an AAS degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant & worked in many different areas as a PT assistant. I have spent a number of years, doing inpatient PT, outpatient PT, long term care & home health PT. I worked as a PT assistant for 17 years. I then went back to school & became a Licensed Massage Therapist & have worked in many different settings as a massage therapist. I do have about a years experience as a personal care provider, I performed duties such as medication reminders, bathing, light meal prep , housekeeping, laundry & assisting him with filling out paperwork to get further help then he was receiving. Also, transportation to Dr. Appointments. I really enjoy getting to know the client & what the clients likes & dislikes are, so I can take care of the client to the best of my ability.

I've been in the care field for almost over a year now, I am certified to pass Medication in the state of Colorado, and I am trained for transfers with gate belts. I've worked in dementia and Alzheimer's units as the lead QMAP, mostly at nights. I'm beyond willing to work in home with the patient and stay over night on weekends. I know I'm a little younger but i am well beyond my years. Im very energetic and a happy go lucky girl. I love music and sharing that with my residents.
