I have been a CNA and went to school for medical training in Respiratory Therapy, xray technician and Heath Science. I have a vast understanding of medical terminology and procedures. I can assist with medical appointments. Most of my clients have some type of memory loss in different stages. I am a mother of one adult child and proud grandmother of a 2 ( 1 just born this year 2024) one grandson who is in college. I have done private catering and I enjoy cooking and juicing fruits and vegetables. I do private over night care and hospice separately from Carelinx. I am very patient and compassionate. Being a Caregiving is an extremely rewarding job. As a Caregivers I take care of our elders, the people who have given so much to this world. Taking care of people is something I'm very proud of. ... Some residents become lonely or sad, but being a great caregiver helpsthem change there mood for the better. What I enjoy most about caregiving is getting to help other people in there time of need.

For 8 years I managed a Spinal Clinic that primarily served the elderly. I assisted them with mobility, with comfort when they were nervous about new treatments, and answered questions they were too afraid to ask the doctor. I also took care of my grandmother growing up. She lived in a little house next to us but wasn't able to fully care for herself. I've assisted my own aging and diabetic mother with everything from bathing, toileting, preparing meals, running errands, etc--specifically after major illnesses and surgeries. I've also done volunteer work at Nursing Homes while in school. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. For the last 2 years I've been working as a full time Nanny.
