I'm a very loving and caring person I have a passion for what I do. I love caring for others it give me such peace and joy to know I can make someone feel good about their self and to encourage others to continue to love and embrace life no matter what the circumstances . And I'm always proud to say I'm a caregiver. I took care of a lady who didn't like to talk or socialize. And it took me 3 days to get her to start eating breakfast with me in the morning so We could have conversations together And it was a blessing because she got the chance to talk about her husband who had pass away. And all she did was smile. I also got her into doing other things around the house , Like taking her walks while singing which made me very happy. RESPECT,LOVE, DEDICATION,
I am hard working, patient and compassionate. I am able to handle any situation that comes my way, while keeping my composure. I was attracted to this field of work because I believe in making the best possible use of what you have. Being patient and "passive" is not always viewed as a positive thing, but if I can leverage my personality traits to build professional relationships that are mutually beneficial, I believe that is a truly rewarding experience. I am a natural problem solver and that's what makes this job enjoyable for me. I like the fact that every day is different and brings new challenges that translate into learning experiences. I aim to learn as much as possible, at all times, regardless of circumstance. I am proud of the fact that I am able to remain positive and take something away from each experience I have in life.

For 20 + years, being friendly and out-going, but very hard working , and diligent, has helped me to succeed as a personal care aide. I am able to show kindness, and empathy towards my clients, while maintaining a a professional work ethic. I became a caregiver because I was always interested in the nursing field helping others. I find it both challenging and rewarding. I am most proud of the consistant care I gave my last client, Marianne. Her faith, hope and courage, in spite of a debilitating illness, was an inspiration to me.

I strive to treat every client like family, with dignity and respect as if they were my own loved one. I like to joke around when appropriate to keep things upbeat. I'm very interested in people and their history and enjoy listening to the stories clients tell.
