Hello! My names Paige! I'm so excited to meet you. I'm a very energetic and outgoing person. I love to meet new people and I'm very determined and passionate in the work I do. Honestly what attracted me to be a caregiver is because I love helping people and growing up, I seen my grandma in a really bad place at the nursing home she was at. And I couldn't stand to see her like that. I love the bond that I get with my clients. I work at an assisted living in the memory unit and I've made so many great relationships with not only my residents but coworkers as well. I love my job. A personal achievement of mine is that I'm going to nursing school. I have 4 kids and honestly never thought I would actually go through with going to nursing school.

I'm very upbeat and patient. I enjoy sharing all activities with client. I have been in nursing 50 years. i love all ages. I'm attracted to caregiving due to a sister with downes syndrome. I was a cna in a nursing home at 20 yrs old. I enjoy teaching clients and family. I am very proud of my nursing with the army reserve.

I enjoy the elderly population and having the opportunity to assist them to be able to stay in their own homes with friends and family available to be around them. It is my passion to communicate with the elderly population and glean wisdom and their understanding of life. I respect who they are and where they have been. It is rewarding to me to spend time with individuals and become a companion and friend. About 15 years ago I was able to purchase a large home for my family with a mother-in-law apartment. We all lived there together until she decided to move to a senior living facility. I believe it was the right thing to do and would do it again but you can not also predicted what the other person really wants. I am a caring person who enjoys being around people. I love adventure and new situations. I have learned a lot about myself in the last 3 years as I have enjoyed working as a medication aide and then as the activity director in an assisted living facility.I have extensive training in Alzheimer/dementia care and I have completed training in a program called Powerful Tools for Caregivers. I have in the past worked with the elderly in their home and am looking forward to doing it again.

I am a gentle and loving nurse whose heart is in providing all encompassing care for seniors so they can remain in their home. As a nurse I can help with medications, wound care, diabetes care but also enjoy providing companionship, help with bathing, dressing, ambulation and transfers, cooking, laundry and help around the house.

I am a very intuitive and empathetic person, I adhere to professional standards and universal practices for Nursing assistance, medication distribution and Restorative/Rehabilitation nursing. I also tend to get to know my seniors on a more personal level, I enjoy talking with folks and going down "memory lane" I love to listen to and share stories, anecdotes, and time. I believe that there should be a more individualized touch and genuine concern for the people entrusted to my care. Quality of life and activities for daily living goes much more deeply than tasks/chores/duties accomplished for a person, it entails respectful concern, dignity and grace and most of all a love for the service provided.

I very much enjoy spending time with and helping other people. I've always been one to put everyone else needs in front of my own and love to put a smile on the face of others. I come from a big family and raised my younger brothers and sisters and now have 5 children of my own, so I would like to think that I've been taking care of people my entire life.
