Being a caregiver has helped me in so many ways, I have worked in Hospitals, Nursing home Facilities, Private Duty, etc. I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with. Taking care of sick people that needs my help gives me joy in my heart and it let me know they need people to work with them that care.
Well thank you for taking the time to look over my profile I am a kind and caring person. I love working in the nursing field and I have done so since I was younger I have a family line of nurses and CNAs and firefighters. Myself as do many of you know what it is like to have a loved one that has Alzheimer's or dementia or other elder needs. In 1999 my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia it was a very rough road to cross. After seeing the things that my mother has went through and has accomplished and overcome it makes me want to continue to work in the nursing field. Someone once asked me why I chose the nursing field and all I can tell you is it is the simple things in life that can make a dramatic difference in someone's life. I love knowing that with my help and others and family members also I am able to help them stay at home. I love knowing that what I can do can change someone's life whether it be from something simple as tieing their shoe or just helping them brush their hair or complete simple daily tasks....
I'm an honest, empathetic, trustworthy person. I love to help make people feel better. Smiling and laughter are two of my favorite things. I'm patient and kind. I developed an exercise program at a nursing home. It was so rewarding to lead the group and see the progress some of the residents were able to make. A stroke victim was able to slowly increase her range of motion on the side that was practically paralyzed.
Ive been working in the health care field for about 6 years now. Whether its caring for family, family friends, and/or my residents at prior workplace. I enjoy being able to help my community in any way that I can. My prior workplace was group home for Mentally Disabled Residents. I would tend to their everyday needs. I currently work for a home health care company and care for elderly in their own homes with everyday needs. About Me: Im a smart, outgoing person. 24years old, I have my own transportation, I Love people, and children. I usually go above and beyond to help just about anyone. I'm a full-time mom of 1 child. I became a caregiver be cause my mother had a stroke and the family did not want to place her in a skilled facility. I like being a caregiver because I enjoy helping others who can't help there self. My achievement I had made was going to Illinois Central College and be coming certified. I live in El Paso and am buying a home. I have 3 younger children in the home with me and 2 adults. We are all very happy and I am thankful to have them in my life.
Hi, my name is Taylor. I'm a sophomore in college. I am outspoken, and can hold a conversation with anyone. I love being around people and helping them. Compassion is one of the best qualities I have. I serve everyone with the same compassion. I wanted to be a caregiver because selfishly its a step towards my career in nursing, but also I would want someone to take care of me the way I take care of my patients and residents. Family is my world and if I can step into a family and take a little burden off of them so they can continue to progress in their day to day activities I'm overjoyed to provide that service. The thing I enjoy most is hearing stories from the past. I am attentive and really listen. I have held 2 health care positions at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. I'm proud of my accomplishments in the hospital setting, however, I feel like its time for a change of pace.
Hello, my name is Haley Green I am 25 years young. I have been a certified CNA since 2009. I started working with geriatrics when I was 15 working as an activity aide. I enjoyed it so much and wanted to be able to do more for the residents that I ended up taking college classes my junior year of high school. The redbirds won the state while we were cheering our first year ever. I am a very upbeat outgoing person who believes that it is the patients choice and decisions. I do not force anything although I will highly encourage. I have a lot of patients and take my time. I enjoy seeing people smile and enjoy life and if I can help out at all by at least helping them have a few good days, well then it seems my job is being done correctly. I enjoy getting to know my patients the most and hearing about their lives and what they have went through. It is a very difficult job at times, however, I hold close to my heart all the people that I have lost. I am a proud CNA and would love to help your loved ones stay in the comfort of their own home.

I love to help people and to where they still feel they have their independence. I'm loving and somewhat sift spoken, but am able to raise voice if needed. I'm very kind hearted. I became a caregiver, because ever sense I was 12 years old that's all I could see myself wanting to do in my life is help others. What I enjoy most about caregiving is getting to know them and becoming friends with them and being able to be that helping hand that they can trust and feel comfortable with.
I have been a certified nursing assistant for 8 years and have had experience in both acute care in the hospital setting and long term care. I love caring for individuals on a one-on-one basis. It's one of the most rewarding experiences there is. I also have two children with a chronic illness (diabetes) so I am very experienced with monitoring blood glucose levels and insulin administration, and worked on a cardiac unit for several years so I am very aware of cardiac symptoms.
