Hello! I have been a caregiver for several years. I chose to be a CNA through encouragement from my aunt. She always gave so much of herself and I wanted to be like that. I feel what you give will be given to you in return. Throughout my employment I can proudly say that I have been named Caregiver of the year 2x. I learn so much from those I have taken care of. Everyone of them has had a story to tell and I try my hardest to listen.

Hello! As you can see my name is Amy, I am of mom of two little girls and we just recently moved out here to the Bloomington area. I have been a CNA for 4 years, I personally find a lot of purpose in being a CNA. Every since I got certified this is all I have done since because I truly enjoy what I do.

I am a very selfless person, I am motivated to better the lives and improve the lives of other individuals. I am furthering my education to become a nurse but I have experience as an HHA and a Direct Support Professional. I am most proud of my completion of my Bachelors degree in Community Health. I am not a fan of cats but I do love dogs.

I have a very happy person, and I am also very patient. I love helping those that cannot help themselves, and I feel like it's the least that I can do. My favorite thing about being a caregiver is how satisfying it is when I can make such a difference in someone else's life. I am 57 years old mature, responsible and experienced caregiver from Bloomington.my background is in Elementary Education but in the last 10 years or more, I have worked as a Home Health aide in senior facilities and residential. My services can provide companionship, light house cleaning, meal prep, shopping, strands, take to appt. Personal care, and pet care if needed. My goal is to provide services to help a client live more independently in their own home environment and give the families peace and assurance that their loved one is in great hands. I grew up taking care of my mother, and since then I knew that giving care to others would be fulfilling. I enjoy getting to know patients and connect with them and a great supporter.

I am very outgoing and my personality is large. I love to socialize with the client and make jokes to make them smile. I enjoy being a companion and friend they can count on when their family is not there so they are not alone! I'm proud of having many residents until the last day of their life to may a long lasting impact, knowing they could always count on me and I stuck around until the very end!

I have an outgoing and very caring and compassionate personality. I was first attracted to becoming a caregiver in 98 two years after graduating from high school. I wanted to give back to others who have given soo much of their love and compassion to their own families and friends over the years, back to them. I enjoy most about being a caregiver being able to make another happy, and stress free by being able to take care of all their needs.
