I absolutely love being a caregiver especially to the elderly alztimers/dementia they will always hold a special place in my heart you see My mom was a home health aid my whole life she always went above and beyond for her patients loved them like her own family I remember going to visit a few of her patients hearing there life stories i loved going with her im actually named after one of her patients my mom went into labor with me at her house so i knew from a young age what i wanted to do with my life i wanted to love and take care of people Everybody is someopne's somebody sombodys mom aunt sister dad brother or uncle someone loves them just like I love my parents i lost my dad to cancer in 2008 and my mom to copd chf and dementia in 2018 thankfully my family and I were able to keep them home with us until they passed and cared for them ourselves so i know first hand how frustrating and heartbreaking it is for family members that are now caregivers i strive to show my patients and there families all the patience kindness respect and love i can
