I am a very compassionate caregiver. I obtained the passion of caring for others when I gained experienced taking care of my grandmother who had dementia. I assisted my mother in taking care of my grandmother up until her last day while being on hospice. I obtained my CNA liscense shortly after and began to share that compassion with others in honor of my grandmother.

I'm a loving Mother of four children first who been a caregiver since age 15. I became certified 7 years ago because I have a passion for caring and assistaning others when needed. I'm willing and able to get to know clients and to let the client and the family know that their in safe care. I'm a certified medication tech, certified nursing assistance and cpr/first certified.

I became a caregiver because I believe it is in my nature and I am compassionate about helping others. I like being a caregiver because no matter how hard I may work or how my day is going, it doesn't feel like work. I would like to help others by doing what I like. I am a mother of four, very energetic and friendly. I recently left my position full time for a major dialysis company in downtown Baltimore and have been in healthcare for a while and started working for Catholic Charities in May 2017, part time on the weekends. I am hoping to start nursing school fall 2017 and would prefer to work overnight Monday thru Wednesday or Thursday but I have open availability and flexibility with my schedule. My personal achievements that I'm honestly most proud of are my children. I am a Certified Nursing Assitant and Cettified Medication Technician through the Maryland Board of Nursing. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.

I'm a person that likes to help others, I'm someone that is compassionate, quick learner, dependable, and caring. I got in this field because of my great grandmother and grandmother, taking care of them showed me that this is what I wanted to do. To help people, to make them feel good and help them with they daily routine. My goal right now is to finish my studies and become a register nurse.

I have extensive experience in the healthcare field at hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and home care settings as well as Mother and Baby, OBGYN, Pediatrics, Med-Surg, ICU, Telemetry, Shock Trauma, Phyc, Escorting clients to and from Dr. appointments, running errands, lite housekeeping, medication remindedr, taking vital signs and reporting any deviations to the nurse and working with patients that have Alzheimer's , Dementia and Stroke's. I am a person that can work well for consecutive hours with little or no supervision and still get the job done right. I have experience working in a busy medical environment where every situation required immediate attention. I quickly learned how to handle various medical situations professionally and efficiently using my own knowledge and any available resources. Working as a compassionate healthcare provider has been one of the best accomplishments that I have done in life yet far.
