PLEASE READ AND LOOK AT MY PROFILE FIRST!!! I have been a private in home caregiver for over 20 years. I became a caregiver because people get so overwhelmed taking care of loved ones and that is where I come in. I love the interaction, the closeness and the level of respect I can give as an outsider. I have plenty of references just ask! I am skilled with Medicare and all insurance and DME companies to get supplies so patients don't have to pay out of pocket. I also am capable of getting everything my patients need to stay home. I work very closely with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I know that my hourly rate looks high but once taxes are taken and the price of gas for travel, it really averages out and you would pay a service the same thing and not get the same care at all! I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I not only can do the health aspect part of the job but I will also help cooking and cleaning. I can take you where you need to go or just run errands for you. My references will tell you that if you just contact me. You may call or text me anytime. 301-992-0370 Thank you so much for looking! Have a blessed day! God is Good All The Time!! I have been responding to messages but I am not sure people are getting them. If you are not, please call me!!!

I started as a CNA info 1994 working in a nursing home and the hospital. I went into this profession because i want to take care of people that can not take care of themselves and their families are unable to. I am very compassionate about the work that I do. The people that I have taken care of over the years i have treated with the same respect and dignity that i would want for my family. I love what I do and get great pressure taking care of others.
I was born in the family of health professionals. Often times I watched my Mum treat people who were ill and those with wounds. I learned to exercise patience with a patient and to treat them with love and care. I once took care of a 90 year old man and the family were happy as their father sounded happier each passing day. I love meeting new people that's what interests me most about this job.

I love caring for others and sharing my love of life! Being a caregiver is an honor. When others trust you to care for their loved ones, you must treat that opportunity like the treasure that it is. Every family that I have had the joy of supporting holds a special place in my heart. I believe that my cultural experiences give me an added advantage as a caregiver. Having a global perspective gives one additional insight into human behavior and thought. I look to challenge those I care for by continuing to support curiosity and imagination, which is know to increase a person's well-being. Being a caregiver often means supporting families as their loved ones transition to the next life. This season of life should be met with compassion and warmth.

I am an honest, reliable, respectable nursing student trying to use my certified nursing assistant skills to improve the lives of those around me. A person's quality of life is important to improve or maintain, as this serves as the basis for their mental health. I strive to provide proper care and provide emotional support to each and every individual that I encounter. I am familiar with the nursing environment as I was a C.N.A. for over a year on the Palliative/Renal/Oncology unit at Meritus Medical Center. I have knowledge and experience with caring for those with Parkinsons, ALS, Alzheimers/dementia, depression, substance use disorders, mobility limitations and paralysis, post-surgical needs, disorders of varying systems, and much more. Not only do I have knowledge and experience from being a C.N.A., I am also a junior in the Shepherd University Nursing program. I will graduate in May 2020 with my B.S.N. Although I cannot complete the actions of a nurse without the supervision of my instructor, I have the knowledge base to improve patient care further and to ensure tasks are being completed properly. Home health is my ultimate goal upon graduating nursing school so I know that I will do a phenomenal job caring for your individual. I truly enjoy the connection and satisfaction that comes with caring for those who need it. The money that is received is just a bonus to the job. I felt in love with the work through voluntary work. I was taken care of people who are mentally challenged. I love to see I made a difference in a person's life. Through an extensive training I had as a Med. Technician , through MBON, I was able to administer meds, check with vitals, administer CPR and First Aid.I gave injections to people with Diabetes and also check with their blood sugar. Aside this, I took care of their personal hygiene and run errands for them. I prepare their meals and get them ready for their daily activities. I schedule their doctor's appointments and make sure to honor those appointment. Doing this gave me the confidence to take up a manager's position which I excelled!
I believe I am a great caregiver because I genuinely enjoy helping people, it is very rewarding for me. I became a CNA in 1996, while working at a large nursing home/retirement center, in the hospitality field, because I really enjoyed working with the elderly making their lives a little brighter. I continued to work there for seven years, I also worked in assisted living for ten years, then private duty care which I also enjoy. I am a mature, caring, compassionate person, who will care for your loved one with respect and dignity. My greatest personal achievement was graduating from Kaplan University while working full-time.
