I am a compassionate and empathetic individual. I try my best to understand how someone else is feeling to better accommodate their needs. I also have a lot of patience and experience worthing with individuals with dementia and developmental disabilities. I have also been a housekeeper. The part I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is assisting the clients in the comfort of their home. Trying to make then as comfortable as possible. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating college, because I was the first one in my family to do so.

I enjoy learning history from seniors since they are living with accurate first hand experience. I enjoy putting a smile on an elders face and being able to provide comfort and compassion to others . I also find helping others a rewarding career in that it lightens the heart and can make a real difference in people's lives whether they are young or just young at heart! I have experience in light and heavy duty care assignments a well as palliative and hospice patients. I may be available some weekend and overnight shifts with advanced notice. Rates negotiable.

I enjoy helping others and helping them feel comfortable and happy. I treat them with respect and treat them as they were my own family I would be careing for. Ever since I started becoming a CNA I started out slow but I became very aware of certain things an how each individual is taken care of a little differently and I have become known to be a great caregiver. Many residents and family's an staff have reached out to me on how well I do my job. I feel good about myself knowing people notice how good I can be at my job. I enjoy doing many things with residents an they can always carry on good stories that make my day. I think working in nursing homes are great but I am looking into becoming more one on one with residents so I can actually get to know them, conversate more, be better at a routine throughout the day, and would get to do different activities or things outside of nursing homes. I like that feeling of helping others as well and feeling like your welcome into a home.

i became a caregiver because I have an overwhelming compassion to help others. even as a child seeing good Samaritan society t.v. commercials I knew I had found my calling. I love helping in any way I can. iv only been fortunate enough to experience the possibility of my career as a cna through the nursing home settings. I would be more than interested in pursuing home health care and any other opportunity in this field. The most valued part of my job is knowing that my help is making someone elses daily life just a little easier and enjoyable. As an individual my most prided personal achievemtn would have to be becoming a mother, nut second best would be obtaining my license as a nurses aide. Im a very bright and skilled young lady. I became a care giver because I enjoy helping people. getting to meet several people who need help with there daily living skills I Divorced and moved out of state became of supervisor with working with people with disabilities or the elderly and buying a house on my own with my savings... I am a kind caring person and am willing to help other when they are having hard times....I am a good listener.....
