What makes me a great caregiver is my passion in being able to be a part of the elderly staying in their homes if thats what they want, instead of a nursing facility. Sometimes that isn't always easy for the families to accomdate that request and that's where i come in, to help make that possible. I love being outside as well, in some instances i have been able to do certain activities with some of my clients ive had, that they may wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. I believe that I am a great caregiver because I don't think im just there to help bathe the clients or clean their home, I'm also there to be there companion and treat them as if their also my family. Nobody wants a random stranger in their home that's just there to clean up after them and make them feel uncomfortable. I chose to be a caregiver because some people aren't as compassionate as others when it comes to helping with things such as cleaning up after someone else or helping with toiletling/bathing in the situations some people would feel uncomfortable in.
