My personal achievement to be proud of is when I saved a dialysis client after encountering a traffic cop while transporting him to the dialysis clinic. Hello my name is Kelly. I love working with Seniors. I went to Peace College in Raleigh, NC. I double majored in Business Administration and Leadership Studies. I worked at nursing home in Raleigh while in school through my leadership studies program. I was in charge of the activities program. I also did one on one interactions with Seniors, depending on the need. I really enjoyed getting to know them , listening to their stories as they are wise individuals. When I graduated college I worked in established family business since 1945. I did interior design and helped clients purchasing furniture. I preferred working with my senior clients as they were gracious and I enjoyed conversations with them. What I enjoy most is their gratitude and making them smile. Some seniors can be a little stubborn, it takes a while to develop their trust and helping them make decisions. Having patience and not giving up and seeing them come around is very rewarding. I have always been an old soul as I love old music. I love history. Especially 50's music.
