I have a calling & passion for serving those in need; especially the elderly population. My ongoing mission is to help them with continuum of life care; their way, not mine. I'm committed to advocating and promoting their wants and needs on an individual basis. I've been a caregiver; predominantly in the private in home sector for over 30 years, and look forward to many more because I am thoroughly committed to providing & maintaing a safe, positive and stress free environment for each aging client I purposefully love to be with and care for.

The thing that attracted me to being a care giver is, I like to "Help" people. I'm interested in the wisdom an elderly person has. I enjoy being a caregiver because helping others puts a smile on their face knowing they are safe and secure in my care at maybe their most vulnerable state. One personal achievement I am proud of is being excepted into the 2019 Strathmore's Worldwide Who's Who in my occupation as a Health Care provider. I have 15 years prior experience as a NA11. The one thing that makes me a great care giver is I love what I do.
I'm a great caregiver because I can very patiently listen, observed and documents good reporting. I enjoy helping people since I have a good loving heart. I feel so good helping these seniors. My personal achievement to be proud of is when I saved a dialysis client after encountering a traffic cop while transporting him to the dialysis clinic. My homecare company gave me the "Silent Achievement Award" for doing the best job but at the same time being silent.

I Am not just getting started as a provider, I have been caring for aging seniors in residential and facilities for 15 years. I am committed to delivering superior personalized care. I believe in satisfaction and morale. Also committed to maintaining an at home, family like environment for seniors whose families are unable to provide at home care. My passion for caring for seniors started with caring for my mother in-law that was diagnosed with dementia and I cared for her from 1996 -2006. I still miss her because she was like a 2nd mother to me.
I love providing home care services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes my soul smile inside out, this has been something that my mother did as well as her mother. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. My personal achievement is the mindfulness of it all. I'm very loving and kind the youngest of four, very outgoing but grounded I'm that person that holds the door, pay for a person bill if they just don't have enough.

What makes me a great caregiver is that. At my Job, I have gotten lots of compliments from family members about there Love ones. All my Residents are happy to have me as there caregiver due to the way i care for them. I love being a caregiver because I feel joy in caring for people and I care with all my heart.
I am a caring mother of three a girl 20, two boys 19 & 11 years of age. I have a total of 19 years of experience of which I have been certified 9 years. I love being a caregiver for many reasons; I am a very trustworthy and reliable caregiver; I don't like to see people suffer or struggle to do something they used to love to do, that's where I come in to give a hand; I love to learn new things in different areas, I am a very loving, caring person and I put myself in one's situation to assist. At the end of the day, I am proud of myself when I see a smile on one's face for what I have done for them.
To have a career that makes a difference in peoples lives. Meeting and interacting with individuals that you sometimes normally would not get the chance to. While working at a assisted living facility I performed CPR on an elderly woman who was choking during dinner. Afterwards she told me how thankful she was and her family wrote a letter stating how grateful they were. The company also expressed their gratitude for what I'd done. I am an understanding, kind, and fair person who does not mind helping people from different cultures and back rounds .That's just how I was raised.
I become a caregiver cause I have passion in caring for our elders. I took care of my grandmother till she passed away. I cared for a femal client for 4yrs till she passed away in 4/3/2015 . I enjoy my job as a caregiver cause it gives me an opportunity to be around and help our elders. My personal achievement that am proud of is going back to school for my CNA and Med Tech and got the Certificates. I am a Mother of 3 beautiful kids.
