I enjoy to go out on nature walks and read books in my spare time. I have a 4 month old puppy that I enjoy to spend time with. Anything involving animals, I'd like to find myself apart of. I am an open minded person and like to say that I'm easy to get along with. I don't like to stop just because things seem hard, I keep going until I find a solution that fits best for everyone. I'd like to become a caregiver because I have members of my family who I already take care of due to their old age, I enjoy spending time with them and making their time worth it. A personal achievement i find myself proud of is my lasting streak I'm grade school. I spent months to help shape and redefine the general vision and admission of craven county schools, also just getting students voices to be heard. I enjoyed the time I spent with the Board of Education and on the trips to meetings. Everything was wonderful!

I'm a very cheerful person who enjoys caring for others. I became a caregiver in 2018 and thought I'm not sure if this is for me but we will see! Well 4 almost 5 years Later I love what I do no matter the person, age or problems they have Being able to help someone and be their friend at the same time make me enjoy my work much more. Being a healthcare worker is more than just a job/career to me it's my life and I enjoy every bit of it. My most recent achievement I am proud of as a caregiver was helping an elderly lady a couple of houses down from me and she had fallen outside there was no one around to help her at the time, my family and I had come home from a night out so I put my children in the house and ran over to make sure she was okay and proceeded to help her up check her scratches and bruises out and help her inside her home. It was actually the same lady who gave me a hard time at one point but that time nothing else mattered.

What I attracted me to being a caregiver is the fact I have always wanted to work in the medical field just not knowing what I wanted to do exactly but becoming a caregiver made me want to become a nurse. I enjoy most about caregiving is making clients day making them smile treating them not different than anyone else & giving them something to look forward to everyday! The most personal achievement I am proud of is pursuing my goals in the medical field and not stopping!
