It was a deeply challenging and emotional journey, but being there to offer comfort, support, and love during their final moments brought a profound sense of fulfillment. It's an experience that will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I'm grateful to have been there for them in their time of need. My farther has high blood pressure & COPD, I am grateful to be a shining light during those critical moments, providing comfort, peace and a piece of mind to his daily life. Hello my name is Kya Broadway, I have been a caregiver for four years. In elementary school I remember my teacher asking what would I like to be when I got older and my response " a nurse!" I have watched my mom in the nursing field for years after nursing she became a phlebotomist and I always felt the need to follow her foot steps due to me having a disabled sister and grandmother having her leg amputated! So I spent my adults years interested in helping others. Taking care of my clients really makes my day and makes me happy knowing I left an impact on others! Everyone that I have helped along my journey of being a caregiver has always expressed how important I am to them and how I brighten their lives so much more.
