Hello, my name is Laura and I am 31. I have a wonderful husband and we have 2 children. T. is 12 and B. is 8. I have a diverse back ground with elderly care and child care, and am looking for clients. When I was a child my mother had an in home daycare and she also took care of my grandfather who had MS. From an early age I was introduced to both child care and elderly care and realized that I had a passion to help people. I have worked in a nursing home, had a private daycare, and most recently worked privately in a home assisting a 92-year-old who was unable to walk. I have experience with a multitude of things and am willing to learn. I believe in the golden rule; treat everyone, how you want to be treated. I was raised with a strong sense of compassion, responsibility, dependability and honesty. I take pride in providing the best care possible.
Compassionate and caring LNA. Focused and hardworking. Care giving to me is rewarding in more ways than a typical 9-5 office job, it's about making a difference. I enjoy having a positive impact and being able to help people. I'm proud of making a change of career to LNA after two degrees and a life in sales and management. My happiness in work is more fulfilling to me than the dollar sign behind it.

I have been a geriatric nurse until I retired in 2003 and since then I have had several home care positions which I especially enjoyed doing. I like the accomplishment of making a persons life better because of what I have been able to do for them. I am an artist, poet (member of the Poetry Society of NH) read often with other poets, do crafts and work a loom. life is never dull. This time of the year I work my gardens and enjoy kayaking and fishing. Life is good.
