I am a very caring and trustworthy individual. Who takes pride in what she does. I work very hard and I am very compassionate about what I do. I became a care giver mainly because of my grandmother. I took care of her when she was sick and I realize after she passed even though i was heart broken It felt good that I was there to help her. Why I like about being a caregiver is helping someone who needs me the most and help to put a smile on their face. I am jovial person and to make someone's day that is a great feel. One personal achievement that I am proud of is that I am finishing up my Degree in nursing and I am very excited to be a Nurse.
I'm a single Mother & I do volunteer work within my Community through my son's school & other areas. I have a generous, giving heart. I love working with people of all ages, but having been raised by my blind & elderly maternal Grandmother while my Mother was sick, I learned to be a caring, sensitive person with immense patience for those in need. I am capable of great compassion and I abhor anything that would allow mistreatment or cruelty to the elderly, children or to anyone at all. I have always taken care of people, first my Mother, then my Grandmother, then my Mother again until she passed away 4 years ago. All the while, I cared for my ex-husband & my two children, one of which is now an adult. I am proud that my children are also caring, loving people. In addition, I'm proud that I continue to take care of people not just physically, but now with my Catering Business because I promote healthy eating & exercise for all ages. I'm versatile & easygoing, but strong in mind, body & spirit. I would love the opportunity to make a difference & make it a bit easier on a family when it comes to their elderly loved ones when they cannot be there for them themselves, but knowing that there is someone that they can trust & believe in to take care of things in their absence.
I am friendly and out going ,but I love to take care of the elderly because I am a caring person.I pay close attention to my clients feeling and keen observation to what is going on with them and around them.I was brought up by grandparents so I have a lot of empathy for caregiving. My personal achievement is seeing clients get well after an illness knowing I was a part of the recovery.
Hi My name is Suzette and I am a dedicated caregiver to the older adults. deeply committed to treating my older clients with dignity and respect. My skills assist me in boosting their morals and to maintain their dignity even in times of distress, my goal is to win their trust and make them feel less discomfort when needing assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming or other personal care. I have over seven years experience caring for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Strokes, bed bond, and Hospice care. It can be challenging at times, but I truly enjoy working with the older adults. Though I try to make a difference in their lives, the lessons I have learned, makes a lasting impact. I am Compassionate, loving, kind, Trustworthy, with a beautiful personality. And though I do not drive I do used Public transportation, Lyft and Uber.
I always liked to help people since I was a child. My grandmother brought me a child doctor kit and my family were all my patients even while they were asleep. I like to meet people and learn new things. I took a customer service class while in college. I am a team player. I took a nurse aide course in 1999 and my license is still current. I have taken a medical assisting course and received my Associate's Degree in 2009. My grandmother and mother had encouraged me to go to school and get certified like my mother. They were my supporters. My grandmother and mother let me practice all I learned with and my grandmother most times on her. My grandmother became ill and that was more of a push for me because I didnt understand the things my grandmother was going through. So I pushed harder for school and she fought harder to push me through. She died a little after I had passed my state exam. I just wanted to quit but I remembered my grandmother and the hardwork we did together. I pushed on after my grandmother died. My mother died and I decided to go to LPN school. My personal achievement I never thought of that. But if I had to think of 1, I would say it would the drive withing myself to not quit at my dreams and goals.
What makes me a great caregiver is that I have the patience and understanding that we all need help in some type of way. I have been a caregiver for 19 years in every capacity. I have worked with the mentally ill, psychiatric and geriatric population. I also know that it is not for everyone, but I know its rewarding. What I am most proud of is that I have held the same job for 19 years and counting. I have a caring heart, and I am humble enough to understand that in every walk of life, you have to be kind and remember that one day you can be in that person's shoes, so humility is one of my strengths.

I like taking care of people and the client just need a little help to stay in their own home. I became a caregiver because other people trusted me with their love ones and they know that I would treated them like family. Being a caregiver give me a change to help the clients live independently in their own home where they are comfortable.
