I am Currently in the Ohio Army National Guard, I like to workout, highly motivated and I am punctual. I want to help people, helping people that aren't as fortunate for whatever reason, makes me realize how lucky I am. I want to make them feel better, and help them in whatever part of life they need. A personal achievement that I am most proud of is, finally getting enough confidence to take on nursing school, I know how tough it can be but I am ready for whatever future endeavors are in store for me.

My career was in business. I retired at a young age. I went into the health care industry from a suggestion of a relative who worked at a large local hospital. I worked there for 6 years and cared for hundreds of patients each having different illnesses. This background caused me to decide I would like to become an independent provider due to my experience. I particularly enjoy caring for elderly men with dementia. What I've found is their long term memories are interesting and have heard interesting stories especially from WWll veterans. I try to become "part of the family" with each patient. I try my best to help each patient maintain their dignity, be comforting, gain their confidence provide friendship and assure a safe environment. In all my past working experiences caregiving is my most satisfying.
