I am a dedicated State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA/CNA) with over 15 years of experience as a caregiver and have provided care to individuals in different settings. I value integrity and compassion as key in pursuit of my career and strive to achieve this with the principle of treating people how you want to be treated. I started caregiving as part time while in college and it turned out to be a humbling and rewarding career for me. Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

I'm a compassionate person that loves people and animals. The joy I can bring to others gives me so much happiness. I've provided care both professionally and personally to a variety of need levels. As the oldest of 3 girls and a Mom that worked as an RN doing 12 hour shifts, I learned caregiving from an early age and realized it was my calling. I'm hardworking and I try to always make sure that everyone of my patients are satisfied to the best of my ability. I've always wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl, then I sat with my grandma as she passed and ever since that day I've really pushed myself to be in the health field. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping out people who need help and making sure that they're happy and taken care of. I am very loyal and trust worthy. I became a Caregiver because as a teenager, my family took care of my grandfather who was bedridden and had dementia. I was in charge of his breakfast and morning medicine. I found much fulfillment and dedication to help those who can not help them selves.
