I became a caregiver because my aunt was diagnosed with a brain disease. At a young age I began taking care of her. I made her meals, helped bathe her and made sure she took her medication. Once I hit my teenage years my great grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Dementia. It was me responsibility to take care of her after school until bed time. This is when I truly fell in love with care taking. My dad then graduated from college and became an Executive Director or retirement communities. My family used to visit him and work. The communities he has worked for have had an incredible impact on myself. In my early 20's I worked in an assisted living community and took care of a quadriplegic man. My passion only grew as the years weld went on. I truly have a passion for caretaking and getting to know people.

I started caregiving at the age of 12 and loved it so much I have continued. What makes me great at caregiving is I not only make it a point for my clients to be physically ok but menatly and emotionaly as well. I want my clients to stay in their home as long as possible and their happiness is important to me. I view everyone as family and I do everything I can to ensure they are treated as such.
