What got me doing caregiving was my son and dad. I didn't want someone else besides me helping them. My son had a bad thyroid cancer and my dad suffered from cardiovascular and heart disease. I felt that when I helped them at home the recovery was more better. The person is in their house comfortably and you can relax a bit with your loved ones. You can get visitor's you don't feel alone, you will always have someone.

I'm proud of the way I've balanced professional growth with family responsibilities, especially during difficult times. Helping my mom run multiple adult care homes while managing the needs of residents was both challenging and rewarding. I also take pride in being a reliable and trustworthy caregiver--someone families can count on to treat their loved ones like my own.

I have been care giving since I was 18 i am now 41 .I have done everything from feeding to j tubes feeding tubes showers medication meal prep house keeping personal shopping brushing teeth attend changing dressing changes toileting all types of personal care dressing .
