Hello my name is Anastasia and I am a mother of two beautiful girls. I became a caretaker shortly before I had my first daughter as more of a means to an end income wide and fell in love with helping people. I have dabbled in a few other professions but have always come back to helping and taking care of others. As a teen I became sick and could not walk for about a year. With a lot of hard work and a dedicated medical team I was able to regain my mobility back which has given me a great insight on how people who need care feel while they are in their time of need. I feel that my experience has given me the patience needed to allow others the right amount of time to grow and heal themselves. One thing I do love about my job and feel the most proud of is the fact that I am very into taking care of the whole individual not just their ailment. So in tern I tend to find little drastic changes that others miss and, with my own experience in mind, I am able to better understand the feelings of those who do not like having the extra help. I believe that everyone has their own story and just because of either an ailment or old age that story does not just end. It its my duty as a caretaker to help that person continue that story and live their best life the best they can. Why else would anyone want to be a caretaker.

I have worked the past 15 years as a caregiver providing assistance with personal care, shopping, meal planning, cooking, medication management and transportation. I have experience in Companion Care, Palliative Care and Hospice Care. I have experience working with and managing private care teams. I have provided care for clients in their homes as well as assisted living and memory care facilities. I recognize the needs of a client can change over time and I have the experience and skills needed to provide quality care, companionship and compassion to my client.

Caring for others is part of who I am. I'm naturally nurturing and empathetic. I'm very good at anticipating needs and serving others. Caregivers are true givers. They recognize the reward by knowing the difference they make each day. The true desire to give comes from within us. This gift has allowed me to achieve a wonderful relationship with my children and has only strengthened as they've become young men. Of course, that's what I'm most proud of.

My favorite thing about being a caregiver is the fact that your helping others and I love to help. I love knowin at the end up the day that I made the day easier for my residents and that they know if they ever need anything of some sort I'll be their to help. My first jon as a caregiver I was thrown into and I had no idea what I was doing but due to training and my fellow employees they made it easy to love and learn how to do all the things and assistance the residents need on a day to day basis.

I truly think one of the absolute best things about me in my previous experiences as being a caregiver is I don't look at it like a paycheck. It's a family. I treat residents like they are my own family. What attracted me to being a caregiver was I heard people were being indecent to the residents so I applied to make sure they got treated the way they deserve. I truly know that's what I most enjoyed as a a caregiver because I knew if I was on the floor I knew the residents would have the love and care they needed. My personal achievement is the fact my residents felt the love they needed. It's crucial to family and friends to have a caregiver that cares. That's why I chose this profession when I was young. I'm good at it and the elderly get the care they deserve.

I'm a very happy person and responsible, I enjoy every smile I see in a human been I like to help others and make them be happy everyday of there life. I decided to become a caregiver because I learn a lot with my dad and it make me proud to help seniors with special needs this is something that is going to be in my heart I love it. I enjoy every minute of others people's life and how happy they make me feel and how much I can do for others that's need care and love. I'm so proud to see how much care and love you can give and received from others, be able to tell them there rights and make them happy and see the big smile on there face after Knowing how much they have been thru in there life's. can't feel more proud to make them happy and be part of there life's things that will never be forgotten..

I am a great caregiver because I treat my clients like they are part of my family and how I would want to be treated. I chose to be a caregiver because I like helping others and I do not have any of my grandparents alive anymore, so this way I get to make memories with other elderly people. I enjoy being a caregiver because I enjoy spending time with the elderly and listening to there stories about there past. I am proud of myself for being very organized and on time.
