My personality traits are that of a nurturing empathetic kind-hearted person what attracts me to caregiving is the gratification of helping someone and making a difference. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing that I do make a difference in someone's quality of life and I hold on to the hope that one day there will be good caregivers out there when I need them.. my biggest personal achievement would be that I raised four children one with disabilities all on my own and I took care of my mother when she was ill I then went back to college but I have always enjoyed helping others.

I'm a very punctual person, being on time is very important to me because it shows that I respect other people and their time. I have a great work ethic and get along well with others. I enjoy helping others and I am most fulfilled when helping others. I am most proud of the job I am doing raising four of my eleven grandchildren.

I began my career as a caregiver professionally a year ago and immediately loved it. I love the fact that I get to help people everyday and I thrive off of the one-on-one structure and enjoy the ability to bond with each of my clients. Prior to beginning this career I did have extensive experience as a caregiver as I grew up assisting my grandfather who passed from Alzheimer's and also assisting my chronically ill mother.

I have been giving care for 10+ years and exclusively the last 5 years. I have a variety of skills and experience and am always willing to learn more so I can ensure your loved one is getting the best care possible. I have done simple companion care with a client who can still fully function but just needs some help to hospice- bedridden care and worked with nurses who come into the home, gone on Doctors appointments, done therapy and prescribed exercises, etc. But it's not just the medical care I provide- I also can make an excellent homecooked meal (not really into too much of the processed and junks foods so if you really want healthy good cooking- I'm your girl), keep a clean environment (no cross-contamination) a great listener, sing, play music and really try to have a good time with the person I am caring for. Does your loved one like certain activities? Then it's a priority for me to make them happen. Whether it's to go to a senior center and participate in an activity or do something at home- music, reading, catching up on a show they like, puzzles, games, taking a walk- I'm flexible and very open to doing what they love and to keep doing at long as we can so your loved one enjoys life to the fullest. Lastly, I keep you updated on anything and everything you want to know about the care being given. Often I get to the point where I can anticipate a need and will work with you to ensure the quality of care and comfort is never compromised when possible.
