Hi my name is Lorine sue. I'm 36 years old and a mother of two . I've been doing this for 13 years and love it. I took care of my grandma when she as old and living. I then decided that this is what I wanted to do. It came natural to me & it's what made me happy so why not get certified and paid for it. I enjoy working with seniors i have over 10 years experience and worked with all kinds of clients. I treat my clients as they were my family . I want all their needs to be taken care of and want them to be comfortable. I chose to be a caregiver because i learned early on at a early age from taking care of family members and loved it from then on.
What makes me a great caregiver is my compassion for people , my love for the elderly, handicap, and disabled. I became a caregiver because , I take pride in taking care of others. What I like or you can say love about being a caregiver is knowing that I've made a difference in someone's life. A personal achievement I am proud of is being blessed to have saved someone's life . I will negotiate my wage depending on duties.
I first became a caregiver when my mother was sick with Lymphoma. I love to cook and clean and have a heart for helping people in need, so caregiving became the perfect job for me. I am patient and understanding and take great pride in encouraging and helping people reach their potential for a more comfortable day to day living.
I'm a very happy and loving person who gets along with everybody. I started giving care to the elderly when my grandma got sick and I knew right then and there this is the job for me in my future. I have gotten very attached to my clients and treat them as if they were family. I take my job to a whole other level by meeting the clients needs and bonding with them .
I've always been told that I smile too much. I'm really proud that I smile too much because it brightens up my patients day. Sometimes they need to see a smile to know everything is going to be ok. I love being a caregiver because I get to help someone. it brings me joy to know that I'm helping someone who appreciates it. Working in both hospitals and nursing centers has shown me two different worlds to healthcare. I have really learned a lot from both. I've learned to noticed signs a lot sooner when something is going on with a patient/resident. I've learned to read people a lot faster on who they are or how they like things done. It really does make a difference when you know what to look for. That's why I wanted to be a caregiver and eventually make my way to becoming a Registered Nurse.
