I am a retired physical therapist assistant. My background is primarily in geriatric rehabilitation, wound care, stroke recovery, exercise programs, ambulatory activities, etc. I have recently been employed as a home health care aide. Duties include: light house keeping, meal preparation, exercise, and medication reminders. I also have been trained in both crisis intervention and grief counseling.
I am an LVN with a history of individual care of elderly, terminally ill patients and patients with special needs. I am energetic, organized and detail-oriented. I do my best to make sure that all duties are performed professionally and to my patient's and employer's standards and satisfaction. I have been interested in having a career in the medical field since I was a young girl. Throughout my adult life I have tried to pursue a career in nursing, but only recently have I been able to accomplish that. I have cared for a special needs patient for 13 years and have cared for patients with various other types of needs since 1999. I enjoy helping others. I perform at least 20 hours of community service a week and have been with the same organization for over 10 years. I am compassionate and caring. I want to do whatever I can to help make the lives of those with disabilities and illnesses easier and more productive while allowing them to maintain as much of their independence as possible.
I'm a head strong mother of 3, entrepreneur, and wife! My passion comes with my personality of always being a "momma hen" which is what I love and why I'm great at...taking care of people. I strive for the best care of my patients and treat them as my own family because ultimately that's what they become, an extension of your heart and life. I have a very wide and extensive knowledge in all areas of care from nursing home long term care to hospital emergency room and pre/post surgical patients. I am very confident that I am a good fit for any patient and want to make sure that their family members feel that confidence in hiring me for their loved ones care. (Currently in the process of renewing my CNA license for record and will update that updated expiration date ASAP. Please keep posted.) My availability as of right now is Monday- Friday 7am-5pm and this is subject to change and willing to negotiate other shifts when I have availability. Just talk to me and let me know and if I can take the shift you need I will. I have worked graveyards before so I'm not opposed but being as though I have young children I prefer to stick to day shifts. I absolutely look forward to hearing from you!!!

1.)That was the only job that I've known of at the time seeing my mother work in that field and going out to patients home and helping her sometimes. And so when I got up in age to where I could work that's was my first job becoming a home health provider. 2.)I love helping the patients to become that person of who they think that they would never be again, work,/ work hours 3.)When a patent has told you and your supervisor that you have changed their live. That's the greatest achievement that anyone should be proud of. 4.)Looking for a job that's willing to pay good, have great work hours that permanent, married to a wonderful handsome man with three awesome lovable kids, hard worker, great understanding person, with loveable values about life, caring, giving, trust worthy, willing to go over and beyond the do's of my job.
My caring and compassionate nature makes me a great caregiver. I started in this field because I wanted to help people who needed me. I like being able to provide something for those who need it. I feel my biggest accomplishment is that I feel at home in this field and I feel needed.
I have a very fun and outgoing personality. I am respectful, responsible, caring, and kind. I take my job very serious. When I am caring for someone I think of them as if they are my family. Helping others is something I love to do. I always wanted to be a nurse but when my grandfather got cancer it made me really want to take care of others. Seeing that someone is happy and appreciate what you have done for them at the end of the day.
