I believe the qualities that make me a great caregiver are patience, compassion and attentiveness. These qualities are essential in assisting a patient at their bedside in their time of need. As stressful it can be for someone who no longer has the physical ability they once had, there needs to be someone who is understanding and empathetic to their desires to ensure comfort. My interest in becoming a caregiver comes from being the one my grandparents call on for help. I strongly believe in giving back to the community and equal effort for all ages of those in stand in the need of care. My enjoyment stems from seeing interacting and seeing my patients smile. I'm proud of the fact that step by step I'm making an impact on my patients as they always ask to see me again. Once I secure the peace of mind in my patients' families hearts and minds, my job is complete.
I am a person who loves to care for others. I love being able to help someone that may need a little extra care. I am a mother of 2 beautiful girls and am currently working for my nursing degree. I had the experience of working in a hospital setting as well as working for a home health agency. I cared for an elderly woman with rheumatoid arthritis among other things and I absolutely adored her! My passion is to work with elderly or pediatrics with my nursing degree. I have always had a soft spot for elderly mainly because I grew up around my grandparents as a child. My personal achievement is that I have been able to get my associates in liberal arts while raising my family. I enjoy being with the elderly and just communicating with them because I admire them so much. I feel they deserve so much respect because they have formed our world to what it is today.
I have been in the health care industry for the last twelve years. I'm a mother of three teenage boys and have also have had my cna since 2007 and am very happy in my career and enjoy what I do. Touching hearts, lending a helping hand and meeting the needs of others has helped me realize my true purpose in life.
i worked as a special needs caregiver for 3 and a half years. the home closed and i began looking for another job. there wasnt anything in that area available. at home health care called me and asked if i would be willing to work with the elderly. i have worked for 1 and a half years with the elderly. it has been awesome. it is hard to lose people you have been caring for. however, i am so blessed to have known them and help care for them. i am down to one client and need more work. i am looking forward to to meeting new friends. i specialize in the nastiest homes and the most difficult people. i look forward to hearing from you.
I enjoy working with people of all ages. I have a special place in my heart for the seniors if I'm being honest. I enjoy the companionship and all the stories. I am very dedicated to the work I do and I thrive to make everyone's life easy and their days and nights run as smoothly as possible. I'm very dependable, punctual, and reliable.
My grandmother and I have a very close relationship. I love going and visiting her as much as I can. My mom used to work in a senior home and I loved to go up there and bring her dinner and get to talk to the elderly she was watching at the time. If you choose me, you won't regret it. I'm here for support, companionship, and any needs to be taken care of.

I knew this career was for me once I got out on the floor. It's kinda like that quote says "choose a job you love and you never have to work a day in your life." Ever since I began this career, although I've only been in it for 6mo, I haven't complained once about having to go to work, and while I was at work, I never complained about what I have to do or wanting to go home. It literally feels like a second home to me.
I have been a caregiver since I was 17. Through my ministry of being a caregiver God has allowed me to share such wonderful moments with those he has placed in my life. I haven't always seen my job as a blessing but through the years I have grown to understand that this is a part of my calling. To make a difference,.. To love beyond what I can see with my own eyes and give out of compassion... And to give comfort and support to those who need it.
