I started to watch my parents and their friend's age. I could see the need for people who had patience, kindness, and the calling to work in a challenging and rewarding field. I was ready to make a difference in people's lives as well as to make a difference in my life. I enjoy the one on one interaction with the clients. I ask myself " How can I bring some joy into this person's life today?" "What can I do to give support and comfort?" I try to think of how I would want my parent's cared for. I have 25 years of care giving, 5 with seniors. I am trained and have worked with hospice, MS, Stroke, ALS, physical and developmental disabilities, autism and Alzheimer's. I do all aspects of daily care; cooking, cleaning, bathing, transferring patients, running errands and driving to doctor's appointments. I am currently a licensed CNA, I am certified in Heart Health CPR, Health Care First Aid, Blood Path and Oxygen. and I have attended seminars on Alzheimer's and Dementia at Brenau College in Gainesville GA. I very much enjoy what I do. I feel that I bring patience, kindness, and a cheerful attitude to work each day. All of my paperwork is up to date, TB test, back ground check, driving record and education information if needed. I am also willing to travel. I can provide excellent references. I enjoy helping others with the cares they can't do. Making food prep for them and doing some house work. My biggest enjoyment with caregiving is getting to know the person and talking to them

I am a great caregiver because I am very caring, dependable, always on time, communicate great. I love to make a differance with a person. I love helping out in everything that I can. This job takes compassion in which I have.

My mother passed away at the age of 67 from dimentia and renal failure I took care of her in my home for 3 years until it got to the point of me needing help that was my first real encounter with caregivers. You worry about the choices you make in caregivers because you want to know your family is being taken care of property. My mother is what inspired me to be a caregiver and the reason I am good at my job is because everyone I Care for is my mother.

So caregiving would be new to me but something I am very interested in getting experience on! I am very good with all sorts people due to all all my previous work experience and customer service training. I am very outgoing and love to work with others, and make other happy. I've recently wanted to jump out of the retail life style and try to get experience in caregiving due to the biggest thing of it all which is helping others, I truly love to help others! I am very organized and know how to get any job handed to me done efficiently. One of my biggest achievements was definitely becoming a manager at one of my jobs where I then had a big role in getting things done and helping others get projects done as well. Again I would love to get the experience of being a caregiver with always the thought of just wanting to help others!
