I'm very compassionate and empathetic when it comes to working with individuals that need that little extra help or we're born with conditions that are out of their control. I've always known since I was in 5th grade that I wanted to put my heart into work where I can be beneficial to someone else. I love you working with IDD/ or disabled individuals. The best part about working as a caregiver is seeing the progress and seeing how happy the individuals are to have someone who cares about them. I'm a caregiver who is honest dependable never late for work, I love what I do I take passion in caring for my clients. I have been a care giver for 37 years. I became interested in being a caregiver when a lady ask me for help she told me that she was not able to bathe herself. which I did help her and did not take any money from her she thanked me. So after that I assisted her with her care when I could and helped her to find more help. that is when I decided that this is what I wanted to do. I like seeing their faces when they get the help that they need just seeing that smile on their face is priceless. My personal achievement that I'm so proud of. I worked with this lady who wanted to work part time I found her a job which she had to volunteer for a week to see if she was able to do the work. I assisted her showing her what she needed to do. after 3 days she was offered the job I was so proud of her. she worked part time at the job and later was offered a supervisory position.

1.) personality traits that i have that i think would fit me best for this job is that, i am very patient, outgoing, i love to meet new people and just get to know them. 2.) what attracted me to this job is because growing up i got to help my mom a lot with her clients and at my current job you meet a lot of elderly people which made my passion for them even better. 3.) Although i've never been a caregiver myself but to help my mom the one i love most is being able to be close with your client and being like family. 4.) my most personal achievement i am proud of is being able to make my coworkers, and bosses proud of me and to make me employee of the month.
