The reason I decided to become a caregiver is because of my grandmother, she turned I'll around 2003 and I stepped in to help take care of her. I became a Nursing Assistant when my grandfather was diagnosed with Cancer it was hard on my grandmother, but once I stepped in with bathing, helping with light housekeeping around the house or just letting my grandmother get out for an hour or two her load was lightened it was a blessing.
