Hello there, first of all, thank you for posting job offerings and trusting your beloved welfare to me. I am Nubia (in my 40's) and my native language is Spanish because I am from Venezuela, very loving person, responsible, punctual, hard worker, respectful and reliable, physically fit and strong and willing to find a part time job with one family for taking care of their loved one; I will utilize my experience as a care giver by providing love, care and patience to the elderly, planning various activities, avoiding conflicts which generates anxiety and promoting relaxation and general welfare through crystal therapies combined with meditation techniques, transmitting the knowledge I have about our physical, mental and spiritual body, as the fastest method to learn how to accelerate the process of healing ourselves more naturally with the power God gave us all by birth right, or at least to alleviate the symptoms of almost any illnesses. Now it became a sacred duty which is my pride. I am also open to perform various duties including preparing, serving and feeding meals to the patient, and assisting them with daily needs; I can also do the laundry and tide their room, among other housekeeping duties, taking them out for walks and keeping a watchful eye while they are enjoying themselves safely. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you so much. Nubia
I have an innate sense of selflessness and empathy is embedded in my personality and I am good listener.I am a compassionate, honesty, reliable person that care about people. I have been working in the personal care profession for several years. I decided to become a caregiver because I enjoy providing care to people of different ages. It gives me great satisfaction to know that I am helping someone and this job enables me to make a difference in the daily lives of my clients. My client misplaced her money I helped her to find it and put it in a secure place, she was concern that she would forget where she put her money. She speaks five languages, so I told her choose one of the language and write it down on a piece of paper and put on the refrigerator. When I turned 60 I decided to leave the corporate world (I was a graphic designer) and start something different by helping people on a more permanent basis. I have volunteered and have always wanted to help people. I have also been a boy scout leader and organized donations. I have worked steady for the last 7 years as an aide for various agencies on Long Island, NY. I have training in TBI as well as HHA and have had clients with Dementia, Down Syndrome and Parkinson's. I have my own transportation, can cook, laundry and have a lot of patience. Being available for either the agency or patient and not getting stressed even if sometimes they are are achievements enough. I deal with both the healthcare agencies and family members and have assisted the patients to the doctors office as well as tabulating and updating their medication. I am familiar with nursing homes, feeding schedule and activities as well as assisting in their movements and range of motion exercises. I constantly are updating my skills with the agencies and are certified as an HHA and TBI aide I can work different shifts and live on the North Shore. And, by the way I am male. Just in case you were wondering about my first name. Thanks for your time.
1; The fact ( My life's loving Mission ) That I deal with on daily basis with a special child (Autism) my 23 year sold son. 2; I've always through out my life, like dealing with persons that I feel I would be able to help, to genuinely feel that I can contribute to the quality of their lives with compassion and caring. 3; To be able to show compassion and treat with respect and dignity, those that need help, that I can be of service. 4; One of my personal achievements; I'm proud to have learned to respect the elderly' the way that they have live their lives ( their personal journey ) and not to impose my will.
Working with people in their home it is essential that I feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion I will let the person that am caring for know that I care about them and want to do what I can to help them. What attracted me to be a caregiver is "Patience" when I work with someone who needs home care it is important that I am patient and understanding. It helps me sometimes to put myself in the other person's shoes and see what it might be like to ask people for help. The most enjoyable moment about being a caregiver is Helping the people that needs help. I have had a few personal achievements that I am proud of being a caregiver, is going in someone's home and helping them to gain back their strength and support them to be a better person that they were.
